How many plants can I Veg under a 400 Watt Mh Light.
The plants are going to be in 1 Gallon pots.

Its saturday dude...and really early for like 1/2 of the country. They make a good footprint of 3x3, but you can push it to 4x4 for veg. For ventillation I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're referring to air cooling it, then a 4" will do, but 6 is always better, since you can get a controller and slow it down some. As for other vent, that depends on what size room this is in. Without knowing that, and if its in a basement, tent, upstairs, whatever, its all different. There is no way to answer that without knowing your space.

Its going to be in a 4 by 4 tent in a bedroom with a cooltube pulling that shit directly out.
What would I do with intake air? Do tents they sell at hydro already have fiber-optic type passive intakes?

Thanks for your time dude.

What's a fiber optic passive intake. I'm very familiar with fiber optics but never heard of such a thing. Is that an sc connector or an lc lol

I'm back. Sorry, had to do some shit today. So are you going to put a carbon filter in the tent, then pull air through that, through the cool tube, and out for the light? If so, you'll need a 6" inline fan to pull that, and you're definatly going to need the filter, for sure. Second, you can open the lower flaps which will give you passive intake, which is fine, but this lets out light, and lets in light, which sucks. The better option is to go with another inline to push fresh air in, or, get a $50 inline vent booster fan from Homedepot or whatever which will provide a constant source of fresh air. The only issue is that air out will be more than air in, and could get a negative pressure situation. I'm just now setting up a new space, a 4x8 tent, and am going to do just this.

Negative pressure is perfect for odor control. And yes this is the setup. Carbon>Hood>Hood>Fan>Muffler>Window

So 6Inch Is Suffiecient? And Could you give me link of the thing at homedepot? Thanks a bunch bro!

^^^ Just make sure you don't get the ones with plastic blades, those things are a piece of shit and so are the cfms on them.

I'll sell ya an inline fan, I've got about 6 extra lol.
