isn't one per sq foot sort of the standard issue response?Big newb question, just curious how many plants can fit in like a 4ftL 2ft W closet type thing thats about 6 feet tall?
Keeping them as small as i can, SOG type deal
that's amazing- the shame of doing sog is that you've got 6 vertical ft to work with. i'd be tempted to do one or two plants like mexiblunt grow a couple sideways. my space is pretty much the same size as yours, and i've got nine plants in there... they just went to flower at just under 2 feet, and it's really crowded in there... i can only see the sex of one of them so far, so we'll see how many i end up with in the next week or two.I've read you can get 9-12 plants per square foot in some cases, it just depends on how tight you pack the plants if you're doing a SOG grow.
you could use 6" pots and fit 32 plants in you grow space but that would still be 4 plants per square foot
I would use 12" pots (better for root growth) you could fit 8
but that would be 1 plant per square foot like loveit said
wouldn't that create bonsais? one bud per cup.lol.Some have had up to 35 in red plastic cups under a 4 ft T5 (SOIL)
remember 6" pots won't give you much room for root growth ( if your going to use soil not hydro ) so you'll need to do something like a SOG grow GOOD LUCK
