I am currently blessed with broad mites(fuck, fuck and more fuck!!) so going to do a complete reset and need to clean the shit out of my rooms and equipment. Just wondering how much bleach I should mix in per gallon of water to be effective?

To kill broad mites? Shit, good question. I'd probably go heavy and wear a respirator. Hope you get your answer.

I use a mix of 3-4 parts water to one part bleach to clean the outside of my house. Spray on and rinse off, cleans up everything it touches real nice.

Did the broad mites wreck the grow or did you feel you wouldn't make it because of the broad mites and said fuck it i have to trash these plants? Did you scope for the broad mites? Sorry to not answer the op, there is just so much confusion between broad mites and viruses that another view is helpful.

Easy to tell the difference between broad mite damage and TMV type virus damage. You treat for both with Forbid4F, if the plant gets better it was broad mites. LOL

I gotta be honest, no I didn't use a scope. I just assumed it was bored mites because the damage looks identical to the broad mite pics I've seen. However I did indeed use Forbid4F and Hotshot No Pest Strips and they didn't even help in the slightest, not even for a day.

You think it might be a virus? How does a guy get rid of that?

it's not a virus, never is.
did you ever bring in clones or let other growers into your room?

10:1 water:bleach is the standard disinfecting ratio. If you're worried about small insects, get some rubbing alcohol and spray down with that.

Disinfecting: Ratio: 1/4 (minimum) to 3/4 (maximum) cup of bleach to 1 gallon of cool water or 1 table- spoon (minimum) to 3 table- spoons (maximum) of bleach to 1 quart of water.

Let stand for 2 min.

Gonna start bleaching down the room and equipment tomorrow. Also gonna hit the plants up with some forbid or avid. Might try the avid, forbid did nothing last time. Or maybe I'll do forbid but stronger than last time.

From what I understand if it is a virus their's not a lot that can be done other than tearing down, bleaching everything and starting all over so I'll try to treat for broad mites first and if it doesn't work I'll do the complete reset.

I'll try to post some pics tonight.

What do you guys do with your carbon filters? Can you just spray those with bleach too or do you need to toss em and get new ones?
