I got about 7k into mine right now and just getting the first grow (after being away from growing for 25 years) started! Built a dedicated shed (12'x16', no permit required in my area), and ran 5-20 amp, 12 gauge wire circuits for power. Divided it into 3 rooms, small entryway 4'x5', veg/clone room 5'x8', and flowering room 11'x12'. Running 4- 1000w hps for flowering, 3-400w mh for 4 moms, and two shelves for clones each with 4-4' T8 bulbs, 2 each 5600k & 4100K. 8" inline exhaust fan (600cfm) with 50lb filter, 6" intake fan (450cfm), 2-16" occilating fans & 3-12" occilating fans, CAP AIR-2 controller, 14K BTU A/C heater combo, hand built 16 pot drip irrigation for the flowering plants and hand watering the mothers and clones. Using Humboldt nutes!

will try to get a few posted in a day or two. Have 20 Nirvana Swiss Cheeze (100% germ.) and 16 Nirvana Wonder Woman (80% germ.) up and growing. Will pull males once flowering begins.

I reckon about £600 overall. First started off with fluro tubes, added a 400w, then a 90w UFO, and all the extra mod cons, fans, metres, mediums pots etc. found most of my crap around the garden and sheds from old fish tanks and so far I have more than broken even :) good times!

Nice. Fire up a journal. I have nirvana's wonder woman going right now. 3 days into flower. I'd like to see how yours do!! Ive never been able to find a wonder woman grow.

It will be interesting to see how they compare! They seem to have been more touchy than the Swiss Cheeze! Not sure if they needed a warmer, or perhaps cooler area for germination. Using FF Light Warrior and Humboldt nutes at 1/2 ml/gal. The next few days will be interesting to see how many more of them pop! Right now I have 10 out of the soil. How was your germination % on them?

Now that's how you build a growroom without cutting corners. Your should def start a journal man. You'd prob have a dozen subs right off the bat.

Will probably start one after this coming weekend as I'm away on business till Sunday afternoon. I'm sure it'll take me this first grow to get it all dialed in as it has been a LONG time since my last one! Pretty pumped about it though!

You have misunderstood my post I'm afraid, I am well aware that hydro produces better yields hence why I have done every type of hydro under the sun and have now realised that yield is not everything so have taken up organic for the quality, enjoyment and knowing that is is closer to nature than using synthetics to grow. It is just a personal choice now. Perhaps I should have worded the post differently, more clearly.

First grow, built a fresh two rooms in basement.
Approx $500 in building costs, $500 for co2 setup, $500 for stinkbudds setup (pvc pipe and sprayers and net pots and everything), $1500 in lights/fans/ducting/setup etc.

$3k so far

Haven't needed an AC/heater unit so far...so if that is needed later...I'll be in for a bit more

i germed 1 out of 1 feminized. it vegged well at higher temps lik 80-85. like, really well. In fact it blew the Venus out of the water. Right now I am vegging at temps up to 83 and they love it. Using FFOF. feeding with all sorts of shit because im new to indoor growing lol. I have a great local store now, took me awhile to find a good one. I fed them early and they soaked it up. I think the wonder woman will suck a lot of nutes but im backing off a little. Everything I have now is a clone of the seeded plant and clones of those. I find the wonder woman to be rather hardy

i spent 2-3k at least on my first setup and its been less than 1 yr, already changing shit up spending more money. I need to get this harvest every 20 days thing dialed in.

so far I have spent around $1000, for my first grow room. 1000w HPS Sun Light system, Nutes, Misalliance supplies, MMMC (for legal reasons of course). And my clones.... I am currently growing 5 wonder woman, 2 Cali Kush, and 12 Sour Diesel!!!

The Swiss Cheeze are certainly outgrowing the Wonder Woman at this point. I think I may have planted the germinated seeds a bit too deep on a few of them and thats why they haven't come up. The ones that are up seem to be coming right along though! I'm shooting for 16 females out the bunch and right now I've got 34 up all total.
