Oh, and I am high like that all the time? I never been called a fiend before. I know lots of people that smoke all day and they are very intelligent.

i wasn't going to be the first to bring up karma.. but since someone else did...

i never really had a problem with weed (even after i had a problem with a -much- harder drug) and still don't.

But some people do have a problem with weed. i've seen people who it's their 'drug of choice' for addictive behavior. they smoke when they wake up, on lunch break, and when they get home they hit the bong until its time to go to bed. these people are burning through a lot of money. their emotions and stability are all over the place... they become easily depressed... they get a bit dummer.... and more hostile. And start to look and act like fiends.

they deffinitely need to cut WAY back, at least. the question is to anyone that sells this shite, do you really want to be responsible, in part, for this person's problems?

now, personally, i'm pretty morally bankrupt. it ain't crack so i ain't worried about it. but it has bothered me enough in the past to -at least- ask myself this question.

i guess the 1million+ people should all quit there jobs at fast food places, and the 10million+ people who make chocolates/cakes/candy in factories because fat people cant resist them. (pulled them figures ou of my ass, but you catch my drift)

how about all the people who are addicted to shopping, and buy shit they dont need and end up in debt bankrupt & homeless...should the cashier who served them the products be responsible.

the barman who serves an alcoholic perhaps?.

the list can go on forever, people fuck themselves up. & if they cant be arsed to take the next step and solve there issues, then its survival of the fittest.

Agreed, there is just no accountability anymore. If you spill coffee in your crotch too fucking bad, it's not McDonalds fault that you did. Coffee is hot, that's what it is for, I can't believe that suit actually won.

+ rep for you :blsmoke:

. my point is, you have to draw the line somewhere. a drug is a drug, whether it's nictoine, alcohol, marijuana, meth or crack cocaine.

but, obviously, they are NOT all the same. do you deal crack? would you have any moral objections to doing so?

would you give your sister some crack cocaine and tell her to try it? or one of your friends? or do you care about these people enough to try to prevent them from fugging up their life. you choose to not be an enabler. and a supplier.

what if it becomes apparent to you that someone you deal to is suffering because of their addiction? what if some chich has two kids and just kind of forgets about them whenever she gets high? are you going to continue to supply her or are you going to make it more difficult for her to be such a shittty parent?

obviously the last two post'ers are morally bankrupt like myself. but i do at least have some standards... i wouldn't let my friends or family get hooked on the hard shite. and if i thought they had a problem w/weed, then i would at least talk to them about it. and sell/give them less.

True very true on the weed. but with that white, you usually don't serve people you fuck with on a regular basis or even remotely fuck with at all some crack.

Well that's how it is here.

So because I think that adults should be responsible for their own actions that makes me morally bnakrupt? You must love the idea of the world being one big nanny state.

If some chick is getting high instead of raising her kids it's her own fault. If she is old enough to be screwing and making babies, she is old enough to take care of them. If she's that into crack then she most likely cracked it up when she was pregnant too.

If you go into a bar and the bartender refuses to serve you, you would instantly start screaming about being discriminated against.

Part of being an adult is facing the consequences of your own actions. If you screw up, it's on you. No, people shouldn't smoke crack or sell crack, but they do. It's up to the individual to have the brains and morality to stay away from it.

you say that other people should be responsible for their own actions. but if ur a drug dealer, then you should also be responsible for your actions.

if some chick is getting high instead of taking care of her kids... after you provided her with a drug, then i would also hold you responsible for the damage done to those children.

if a bartender refuses to serve someone, then he's a good bartender. the guys probably already WAY to drunk and this bartender is being morally responsible. is it HIS fault if some drunk he serves goes down the road and kills someon in a automobile accident? Yer damn right it is.

That was pretty much my point dude.

Actually it's kinda funny. I sense many choose whom to listen to and whom to ignore simply by how unique, or cool, an avatar the member chose.
lol i think so too

well thats just stupid... everyone should be responsible for there OWN actions...

do you guys even smoke weed on here? lol... I hear ya about the bar bitch... but even then.. It only feels wrong because you feel for the family that this bitch kills....but honestly... the bar guy is there to make $... the bitch has $.. wants beeer... guess what he sells.. what??.. beeer... so wtf... Sure if i was the owner of the bar i would cut her off .. but it would be just so she could come back another night... not because i care. Its her deciion to get high or drunk or whatever... It should just come with bigger penalties... She drives all drunk and kills... she dies.. period. That word would spread around quick and people wouldnt drink and drive... call it fear.. but its the only diterance that works.

People dont speed cause of fear of that ticket..(or the cop finding other shit..lol).. its $ or time.. but its fear...

i laugh at those who think i have "no worries". especially after you just post 2 paragraphs on defending it all. lolol :mrgreen:
you can throw up two 1000 watt lights in your garage and pay your mortgage for the year. you don't have to be a "commercial" grower. it's not one extreme or the other. there is a nice safe, relaxed area there. :eyesmoke::eyesmoke:
FDD, I surely did not mean to state that you got no worries. Christ, I'd have attack dogs, a MAC 10, and still sleep in a tent with all that in my back yard. Like I said, I am TOTALLY jealous. And I didn't mean to imply that you wouldn't do anything BUT defend you and yours. Maybe I went about explaining it wrong, but the point of that post was that once you get above a certain level (no longer slinging OZs) it can and often does get hairy, and not just everyone has what it takes to be able to protect their shit at any cost. Alot of people THINK they can, but end up on a slab.

Yeah, it isn't worth it though that was just how to if you gunna have to for what its worth which is what my word is, which aint much to you.

<SNIP>
PLUS its morally wrong and ethically degrading. Not to mention your image will be shattered. And the probablity of going to jail is extremely high.
THAT is offensive, expecting others to follow your moral beliefs. HUGE difference between personal morals and basic human integrity.

DaGambler, I didn't think we were this far apart. Selling a product, no matter what that product is, is just business. Some businessmen have ethics, some dont.
The only damage to "the moral fabric of our society" I can see that comes from selling pot is that all too many people will spend thier entire paycheck on a sack of dope. They will buy dope when thier kids need shoes. I have seen it. But that is NOT the dealers fault. It's a core defect in that person. Now I personally would cut dude off, and tell him to take care of the kids, but thats just me. And I AM morally bankrupt by todays standards.
And as far as the bartender being resposible for a vehicular death by serving, thats really not a fair example. Serving a drunk is one thing, allowing him/her to drive after drinking is another. Would you hold a car dealership or the car manufacturer resposible for selling a car to a habitual drunk driver? It would amount to the same thing. There are all kinds of "what if" scenarios and we could debate them forever. The bottom line is that if we made all of the dangerous things in life illegal, we'd be better of in a "Matrix" type of world.

Misshestermoffit hit the nail...People need to start taking responsibility for their own actions. The courts should NOT reward stupidity. We are upsetting the natural order of the world by doing so. People taking themselves out thru stupidity is all a part of natural selection. Survival of the fittest, making mankind better, stronger, and smarter by elimination. If we keep making this world a safer place for the weaker, less intelligent people, no one will die, and we are gonna get to the point that the earth cannot sustain the population (If we aren't already there) I can already see an "Idiocracy" kind of society starting to show through. People are getting dumber. And we'll be there to pick up the pieces.
Let nature take its course.

Before anyone says it, yeah, i'm fucked up. It's a cold world, but thats reality.
