How Much Do You Pay For Weed A Month?

hey everyone, i live in san diego area and pay 60 dollars and eighth of medicinal marijuana and was wondering what some of the prices around the globe go for.

well here in louisiana you can pay upwards of 90 for an 1/8th of super lemon haze

I pay $80 for a 1/2 oz of shwag. Go thru about 4 every month. Prices for "kb" are around $60 for 1/8, and nobody ever knows exactly what the strain is or where it came from.

Ah, the East Coast. Where weed is weed and nobody asks for specifics.

I have been in several parts of the country and have hated being ripped off by dealers.......

Bloomington, Indiana (I became a full fledged pothead while at my undergrad
50-65 for anything that had a name, also depending on people I got it form (hippie, want to be hustler from up stairs, frat boy)......(blueberry, lifesaver, LUI, bubblegum)
Bulk (mid grades, nugs with some seeds very little stems. 150$ ounce 500$ 1/4 lb)

Anne Arbor, Michigan (#1 best price/quality ratio)
Great bud!!! Not very big on names there......mostly just real decent kind bud ranging from 40-50$ an eighth.

Pittsburgh, PA (FUK PITTSBURGH DEALERS)
BULLSHIT!!!! Worst "city" I have been in for weed!!!! Some quality but not very much. Usually just went for ounces of reg for 100-120$ an ounce. Only some of the sketchiest people I have encountered yet sold anything "quality" usually it was not cured long enough or smoked like shit, but it had a name, so dude would charge 25-30$ a gram for not so great quality. But I must admit i did have some of the best schroomz I have had yet. But right before I moved out of the burgh' I found a dude that sold grand daddy purps, and ak-47, Candy Kush, 65$ an 1/8 but then after the first few bags things started to get weak and mid grade so i told him to fuk himself for his "beesters" for 65$.

Breckenridge, CO (better access to good weed than some places)
Really quality stuff. Found a steady hookup at a local hotel staff. 45-50$ 1/8 of decent green bud. Also found a kid at a ski shop selling Maui Wowi for 65$.

And Lastly FL (really wish better weed was around on the regular)
Grew up there, still go back often. Same old deal......1 ounce of schwag 90-100$ if you buy in QP you get it for 300$. Not much great weed around. Kripie is around and that is still hard to find some times...that runs 65$ 1/8 or the will cut you a deal for 400$ ounces. HA! I have encountered some "name" in fl but that usually goes 25$ gram. Best deal I did find was White Widow for 75$ 1/8 . Fuk. Why do people charge out the ass for a plant that makes so much good?

I'm up in New England prices are roughly as follows:

Heddies: $45-70 / 3.5g
Middies (very potent, downside is stemmy/seedy): $20-25 / 3.5g
Schwag: Non existant.. "shake" runs about $50 an ounce or some shit.

To break it down a little better:
Heddies
Jack Herer - $70 / 3.5g
Trainwreck (Humboldt County, CA) - $65 / 3.5g
ECSD - $45 / 3.5g

Headies: I have a steady headie dealer for $20/g, bout 60/eighth.
KB: Another steady kb dealer, $15/g. 45/eighth.
Mids: Steady mid's dealer, but this guy is the biggest a-hole i've ever met. tries to tell you his mids are DANK!! *laugh*, and tries to sell for 10-15/g, so i don't ever buy from him.

East coast is never big on names, and if they are, it's usually bullshit just to try and make you buy it. Hence why I'm here and growing my own finally. No more money for bud, and headies all the time!

$80 for a 1/2 of shwag, man thats alot, I used to sell shwag about 10 years ago, and I sold for $25 a 1/2 and $50 an oz.

I don't know why you guys are saying that the east coast isn't big on brand name weed and shit.. come up to Mass, NH, or hell even a few areas of VT that I know of.. not to mention if were are including NY as east coast? I mean.. fuck, new england is still getting a decent bit from canada and most of the heddies where I live are either grown by a few friends of mine or come from NYC.

I can get a 1/2 for $200 of decent bush

guess im spoiled in cali i cannot find mids or stress only can find dank chronic and and the super dank and then theres the kush chronic 1/8 for 40 super dank is 50 and kush verys usually 25 a g but can get cheapier

Grew up in south florida..."crippie" was always $50 an 1/8, once in a while something really special might bring $60 an 1/8. "regz" was $25 a 1/4, ozs $60-$100.

Moved north about a thousand miles or so..."regz" is $25-$40 a 1/4 and is usually pretty low quality. Any good bud around here is called hydro, regardless of grow medium. IF you can find it, you are gonna pay $100-$125 a 1/4.

That's why I grow my own. Cost for that...about $30 a month for elec/nutes, and that gets me about as much top quality bud as I am able to smoke

$240 a month for heads............thats a quarter roughly every 2 weeks........although my guy doesn't always have it so sometimes I'm stuck with nothing, like now for instance...

You're getting ripped off for "kb" @ 60 an 8th.

I live in the northeast and I get an 8th of mids for $20, 8th of kb for $35-40 and an 8th of primo exotics (blueberry, C99, sour diesel) for $60-70 an 8th.

Mostly though, the east coast is a joke when it comes to just buying stuff from the streets. Wet down, chemical sprayed, kief shaken, overpriced buds.

Well, unfortunately where I live the laws are pretty tough which makes for higher prices. Not a lot of locally grown product, either.

Ten years ago, a half oz of shwag cost me exactly the same as it does now. Only thing that's changed in 10 years is now you can get better than shwag, but not much better.

Pot comes in two varieties here. Seedy/stemmy as shit, and seedless.

Yeah, I'm aware that the prices are high compared to other places. There's no tolerance for pot here, and pretty much no locally grown bud, so the prices stay high. I wouldn't call it a "rip off", because I'm not the only one paying those prices. It's just the black market, you buy what you can get or you stay sober. I don't buy "off the streets", either.

It's the price you pay for living in close proximity to the DEA headquarters, I guess.

I Go threw a 1/4 a week, or an eight every 3 days of good medical shit. it has been this way for about 3 years straight. 120 dollars a week
