How much does having seeds RUIN the WEED... IF at all???

does it ruin the weed? true or false? and by a lot??? someone was bitching saying it isn't even half as good. WTF??? seriously??

I didn't think it made much difference. but maybe i'm wrong...

i think getting seeds is sick cuz i get em out of dank bud...when i do get them. alot of seeds in your bud can be a bad thing if your buying it though cuz the seeds are taking up some weight on the scale an whatnot. if your growing it and think you grew some pretty dank bud and want to grow it again...then its a +. its all just peoples different perspectives on it.

The truth is that it depends on how much pollen makes it to the female flowers. When a plant becomes fertilized, it will devote some of its energy to seed production. If you are intentionally fertilizing a single bud with the intention of growing seeds, and you are careful not to let pollen stray from your intended mommy bud, then your quality won't be compromised significantly. If you allow a male to fully ripen and release its pollen in proximity to your females, you will have buds loaded with seeds, and quality will be significantly reduced as the females will devote all their energy to seed production. All that sticky stuff on the female buds is there to catch pollen, so once your plants have achieved that goal they will quit producing more.

Also, we have all found the odd seed in otherwise seedless pot, and as tranquility pointed out, BONUS!!! These occasional seeds come about when a female is in final stages of maturity, and will attempt to reproduce by throwing a male flower or two into the female flowers. These usually go undetected, and the end result is that one or two seeds in otherwise seedless pot.

awww okay. it was pretty fucking loaded. tried to pull a male plant from the mix but it caught a stem and it shook everywhere...

I agree, that is a wonderful feeling when you find a seed in a good strain Jack Herer blessed me with 4 seeds out of a qtr ounce I had smoked over a few weeks

i cant belive people actually talk about this stuff why dont you smoke some seed less buds then smoke some buds that had seed and see if there is a difference

I think it is safe to say that we all have smoked both, and as I said before, the occasional seed in some awesome weed is like getting a bonus you didn't expect. I got two from an 1/8 of Blueberry that kicked ass, and one from some MK Ultra that kicked ass, and I got the biggest bonus of all in that they all grew into females. Did I get any less high than the people who bought same stuff and didn't find any seeds? NO! But now I have three beauties almost ready to go into flowering room, and a handful of clones besides. If you call that getting screwed, than I feel for you man.
