Hey, Ive got a room in my apartment in which im planning on growing about 150 plants. (basicly the whole bedroom). Im planning on running a 6 inch inline fan blowing through a ionizer and then out the window. Would that be enough to keep all odors out of the room? Should I keep it running all the time?

thanks

Thats a lot of plants. I'd guess a 6" inline would move probably 300CFM. Which probably wouldn't be enough cause with that many plants your whole apartment building will smell. How big is the room?

Air Exchange

The ideal air exchange rate will vary at different times of the year and from room to room depending on things like grow room height, etc. As rough guide about 30 air changes per hour is often recommended. work on at least 200 cubic metres of movement per hour for one 600 Watt light, then 150m3/hr for each extra light. Then compare the two figures for each method and go for an average between the two and you won’t be far out. Adjust this figure slightly up or down for 1000 Watt or 400 Watt respectively.
