I do not see 8 foot of space here from the base of the plant to the glass, unless i cannot see the 6foot underneath? I am confused here!

So you can run continuous veg and flower cycles, move them into soil or a proper hydro and flower them whilst starting a new batch of seedlings or grow them a few more weeks then move to flower, what you got lightwise in the flower room? four 1000watt lights is my guess dude!lol! Sorry couldn't resist that. Peace

i haven't got any other lights, that's what this grow is for.so i can decide how to spend my money in the future. i been reading on U.V. lights to add lately to my grow this bulb

UVB is overated, can produce more trics but the light degrades plastics and other things over a long period of time and not good for our skin. It dose however promote trichrome growth as the plant trys to protect itself from the harmfull uvb. Why don't you use the 600w to flower and get some flourescents for the veg. I use the 4 bulb 2 foot t5 lightwave unit, for 88 watts of light this sure can veg some mean plants. T5 flourescents are on a par with hps/mh in a short grow low grow or scrog. Good luck dude, i personally don't like uvb, my envirolite kicks out enough and it turns white plastic to dull brown colour over a year or two so i have enough uvb. Research uvb, never thought it was used for light intensity or penetration but more to encorage the plant to grow more trichromes to protect itself from the harmfull uvb rays. Peace

I see some ansolute pros adding in a uvb light here and there but not very often, like i said they don't do it for yeild. Lizards need these in vivariums because the light in hot countries has a higher proportion of uvb light for couple of scientific reasons. This light is damaging to the skin though just like light in a hot country. Aren't sunbed lights uvb as well.

I use envirolites (just gone bust!!!! ARGH) for the light spectrum, kick ass in spectrum on most bulbs, a wider spectrum covering the red and blue is great for veg and flower, i always find watt for watt that blue light spectrum penetrates better than the red so i always add a blue envirolite to my red in flowering, in veg i am blue all the way at the moment. Bulbs are so cheap at the moment i would not worry about their usable life and shift so much, so much easier to go buy another. I was always led to believe the SON T ARGO bulbs by philips were the best and covered the biggest light spectrum.
