how much light for a closet grow

I am planing on building a grow cab for my closet. I have space for about a 28" W x 24" Deep X 5ft high.

What would be best for this space. HPS? 150W or 250W?

or CFL?

I plan on doing a SCROG of some sort.

250 watts, but start your seeds or clones with a couple of 6500 k CFLs it will give you short bushy plants and stretch out the life of your HPS.

My closet is about 8X2X9...I have it split downt the middle with panda film and use half the clostet. I have a 600WHPS about 12 inches from my bitches, with a small desktop fan and two humidifiers going 24/7. Temps avg 70-80. I keep my windows in my room open all day long to keep a steady supply of fresh air. That is it!

The only time my temp spiked was when I went fishing and my roomate blasted the Heater..and it got to about 90 for a few hours..but for the most part..

I was leaning twoard 250 HPS. And I already have a clone/veg chamber set up w/6500K cfls.

250 is good. It will not take much to cool a 400W either.

Either way, go with what you think you need. If you plan on growing more plants...the 400W will do you good.

It was like when I bought my Plasma...i got the 46 inch...but regretted not spending the extra two hundred bucks and getting the 52 inch! GL.
