How much light needed to keep plants in veg?

Greetings to everyone, I'm a new grower and have a question if anyone can answer. I'm in Ecuador at about 3000m altitude and growing covertly on a windowsill. The plants get insanely good sun for about 6 hours a day, due to the window/sun geometry, with a 12/12 day overall. The plants are doing great on 12/12 and I know from other growers here that if left alone they will flower in 2 or 3 months. I want to keep some of my plants in veg though so I can take clones, and am wondering how much light I need to give the plants to keep them in veg. Since I am happy with the growth I am seeing now and have to live in my apartment with the plants, I'd rather not have a grow light in here if I can help it. Would a household bulb or two be enough to give an additional 6 hours of light and keep them in veg? Or do I need a powerful light for this? Thanks for your answers:)

Simple answer yes it would. A flash light can do it.

Hey, no worries. The weed situation here is sorta mixed right now. They just passed some decriminilization measures a year ago and you can now have up to 10g on you and its just a fine I think, but its not legal yet to grow or possess larger amounts or to smoke in public. I think the society will legalize recreational sale of weed here, but probably it will take a few more years. Also, when we speak about laws, let's not forget it's Latin America, you almost always can bribe the cop if there is trouble (or the judge, if the cop doesn't like money for some strange reason). I personally feel safer growing here than many other countries I've lived in for this very reason.

That sucks. In Colombia (lived there for 6 months) you can grow and possess up to 1 Oz. You can't smoke in public, though.
Best in South America is Uruguay. Weed there is totally legal.
