How Much Lighting Could I Use Minimum?

would one 60wt cfl light do a plant 24/7 then flowerin stage put it on 18-6.......?
From what I understand, any amount of light can grow and flower a plant, but the yields and speed of growth with suffer if he wattage is too low. And also, when should I start a grow journal? I was thinking I could start when my order arrives. Which by the way I'll be growing Barney's Farm LSD.

Start one whenever you like! You can show off pics of your setup while you wait on your order, and ask questions you come up with. I have seen several growers yield an ounce with 3 to 4 23 watt. CFL's. Its all in how you train them!

You want to know how little light you can grow with?

Where is that picture of a plant held up by a fork when you need it...

by all means, low watt grows can be very much worthwhile
i routinely get 28+ grams from a 3 x 26w cfl setup
your mileage may vary a bit, but if you stick with it, you will get these yields

I'm more of a dc person, ac kind of scares me but honestly by following the threads in the DIY forum, it was a cinch. The bulbs themselves don't get very hot, so if you can remote ballast it, I think it'd be pretty optimal for you.

Depending on your space, could you get a 2' t-5 in there! My buddy has A 8 lamp 2' t-5 that he runs and it doesn't do to bad. They run nice and cool. But yes if you could get a HID in there you would be happy. As far as making it a remote ballast just remember how it looked when you took it apart.
