Hey,

I just need some views on when I should start running my flush? These plants were badly burned so I had some recovery time to factor into the 11 week of flowering along with a reservoir changes that made me force the root system through a hole too small...

Can you also give me your views on how much longer these look to have?? I would guess 2 more???

I'm going to see if my local grow shop has a microscope tomorrow. Even if they dont I have some time before I need to look for tric cloudiness!!

I am guessing a month. You might be close in 3 weeks but from other hazes I would say a month. Patience is the key here it will reward you in the end. I have two strains going now in there 14th week and they still have time to go.
Good Luck and nice grow

yes you definately have a month at least. the next step is your white hairs are going to turn red. feed with molasses and water. i use syrup instead of molasses and i get the same results. it helps stimulate bud growth through boosting the microorganisms in the roots. flush two weeks from now. once the hairs start turning red you will see the buds plump up and start to fill in. this is when you have your microscope ready and start watching the trichs good luck

Wow,

really a month eh? Well ok. In about 2 weeks when the hairs start all turning red I'll have my molasses and water solution ready.

Thanks dudes.. +Rep as you probably noticed....

BTW what do you mean the buds will start to swell? in what way will they well and what is the nutrient need during this time? Is the molasses enough or is bud candy from or overdrive enough or??? or??? or??? Sorry for the questions....

14th week wow is it a HAZE? It is written that HAZE's are typically long on flowering but this strain Shining Silver Haze was supposed to take on some Sativa traits and one of them being a shorter flowering cycle. But I guess I did a lot more damage than i though i had when I burned them...

If the growth slowed down then give it another week nd a half and flush.
A rule is, whenever you think its ready. Wait another week. Lol.

@ NoB - I like the extra week rule

@ sleeperle93 - I'm not sure i should flush with those though since I've been using them all throughout. So i guess flushing is to leach out the trace chems and elements.. I'm gonna look now in the DWC forum since U said sont use molasses in DWC.. any idea why bro??

@ wannaquickee - do you have any pics of your SSH when you chopped? I'm asking because this one is just continuing to put size on the buds, no sign of slowing down.. On the really small totally crispified to the max plant that miraculously recovered, she looks to be more "mature" than the big one. I'll check ur journals now...

mollasses is best used in soil... it's used to feed the myco rhizza(spelling)... which is the beneficial bacteria in soil that interacts with your root system; sure it adds useful carbs and minerals, but I've seen some terrible root rot in dwc reservoirs due to mollasses use... get yourself some flora kleen, you don' need to flush for 2 weeks with FK, just 2-3 days, lol

I think I'm gonna start my flush on this little one. (2nd set of First Five Pics). If you look at my grow this is the one that suffered the burn the most. Oct 29 she had practically no leaves!!

The one still has a week or so I guess!!!

Dude you dont need to flush unless theres a reason to flush...Everytime you flush your shocking your plants a little and stunting its growth....Those plants arent even close to being ripe yet so why do you want to flush? Sometimes Less is more.....Sometimes you are your own worst enemy! Dont mess with your girls too much its a noob move...

Just do what Sleeper said and get some Flora flush and wait tell you think there ready then wait a week and flush....... If you want to get a jump on the flush but not shock the plant just stop using nutes in your water the last couple weeks then do a real flush at the end wait a couple more days and harvest...

Hmmmm,

I can understand what you guys are saying BUT you really have to look at the pics there are two plants and the smallest ones pistils are turning red at an alarmingly fast rate. Since i don't have anything to flush with i have to wait until tomorrow anyway. but after this light cycle if the little one has many more hairs gone red then I'll need to flush.. I mean it only makes sense.

As far as not shocking the plants, since I'm using Advanced Nutrients, I think it's best I bleed out the chemicals prior to firing up the grass.

I will wait at least a week more then I will check the trics, if they're cloudy :):):)
