How much longer will this take until we can harvest it?

Total noob here its been on 12 on 12 off for about 3 weeks. How much longer until I need to buy a little jewel magnifier and start looking for the little thigs to go amber. Im thinking its a while yet? Does it look healthy? Its only under a cfl bulb.

Looks healthy to me, its a small picture tho. Doesent look like its close to being chopped tho.
 
I dont even know what type it is either its a seed just out of a baggie. It smells great though so we have high hopes x
 
Looks good, but nowhere near ready to harvest. Like amrcngror said, 6 more weeks (give or take).

Keep posting weekly updates and people will help you monitor it.
 
Just the one, do you think it needs more for just one plant? Its got a 125w cfl on it at the moment about 3 inches or so away from it. This is a total experiment I didn't expect it to even flower to be honest if this is sucessful I am going to do a proper grow and get some more equipment.
 
Are you tying down your plant at all? One 125W CFL is just about enough to flower one plant, but I would try to move/tie some branches down to expose as many bud sites to the light as possible.

CFLs have poor canopy penetration, so with just one bulb, you won't get much bud growing on the lower nodes without some form of LST.

Can you post some more pics of your setup/plant?
 
yea you have to lst or something cfls arent good for penetration, if things work good for you try invest in a HPS light youll be way happier with the results
 
no doesnt involve chopping lol you are just tying down branches to open it up so light can reach the other bud sights ( i believe thats what lst is)

Yep, that's exactly what LST is.

It won't harm your plant, quite the opposite, and you don't have to chop anything off (unless you want to). I would totally start LSTing her.
 
you always learn a ton on your first grow, especially from this site lol.....im currently on my 2nd grow (well my second since i started growing again, last time i was growing i was bout 21-22) and i made alot of updates man i wish i knew bout this site when i was younger lol

i guess what i was getting at, youll be making changes after this one is ready to chop you always lean more and more

I did look at HPS a while back but I was concerned about energy consumption and the heat output from the thing, I am going to be out of the house more than normal and I would be worried about it going on fire. I think the 'high pressure' part of it is scaring me :)
Im not in it to make money, more a hobby to produce a little bit for the bf to smoke.

How likely is a hps bulb to set my house on fire? :@
