Hey All,

Question about when to flush...

Trying to make this as simple as possible- below is some info

Type- Autos- Pics attached
Week- Beginning week 9
Nutes- Bio bizz organic bottled nutes, Blackstrap Molasses, Epsom salts, EWC
Medium- Soil

Ive attached some pics of the plants that seem to be getting close to a flush/plain water feed til chop, but wanted to get opinions of others.

My gut says feed one or two more dose of nutes (about a week or so) and then start giving plain water until harvest. With that being said, I have nothing to compare to as I’m a novice.

Anyone care to share their thoughts about when to flush, and if it’s even truly necessary using bottled organic nutes? (I’ve read conflicting things). If I was using mineral salt nutes I wouldn’t think twice about a flush.

Thoughts anyone?

Thank you for your help in advance!

That’s my initial thought as well, I may feed plain water a few days before harvest but I don’t think I’m flushing two weeks before harvest. It seems illogical to deprive the plant of those nutes when it’s trying to sprint to the finish line.

There is a post around here somewhere or on the net.. someone finally did a side by side flush/no flush.. no difference at all.. just a silly thing people keep repeating.

Autos will be better beyond breeder estimates.. give yourself about another week , continue a feed but at a decreased amount say about half til end. Flushing does nothing but clear salt buildup in medium , not in plant. Autos do not need complicated feeds only enough for about 90 days average.
