How much quicker under 11/13?

i am posting from my own personal experience, and it did speed up my grow, i grew bigbud to week 6 then switched to 11/13 for the last weeks, and the plant was totaly ripe n ready by week 7 so in my opinion yes it does work in some cases, peace ludacris its only my opinion. bb x nl

different strains finish quicker than others and the care and growing environment matters. i have grown many different strains and my plants are always ready in 90 days from seed.
you cant speed up the harvest by giving it less light.
you can speed up the flowering but not the end result.

but grow some ak47 and expect to harvest in 70- 75 days.
REGARDLESS OF PHOTOPERIOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ludacris, with the upmost respect m8 as a fellow brit, i know that bigbud is a 8-9week strain, i finnished it in 7weeks, the pistils were 100% red and the trichs where 85% amber, the rest where cloudy, now if thats not finnished, wot is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace bb x nl

you dont know its a 8-9 week strain and neither does the seed supplier breeder(its an estimate or a guesstomate).
maybe you have been told this but can you see the genetics inside the seed ???????.
you can plant 10 seeds of the same strain and some will finish before others and it has nothing to do with the photoperiod.

i think the secret to flowering is not based on how much light it gets its bases on at least 12hrs completed darkness everyday which comes in the fall months

ok luda let me put it this way, i had 10 bigbud seeds from a plant, so i know they where all the same genetics, i flowered 5 of them on nothing but 12/12 till they were ready, it took 8 1/2 weeks.

i flowered the other 5 6weeks 12/12 and cut to 11/13 for the remaining week and they were done.

it worked for me, and that was proof enough for me. im not trying to argue, obviously im gunna believe my own proof, not saying this will work with other strains coz it wont but it worked for me with bigbud.
