Is there other things that facture in to electric bills beside $ per kilo watt x watts used?
I had 4 x 1k watt hps 12 \12 and a 1k mh at 24/7 .. no heat on , a few showers ,no real cooking being done and a fridge pluged in. I also had a 12 inch inline blower (not sure the wattage )pulling air from 2 rooms and a small fan running on my stadium ..
My power bill was over $450 each month we grew there ...
Now I figured the hps lights would cost us about $30 each a month and another 60 a month for the 1k mh .
For a grand total of $180. Then i figured it be about another 60- 100 a month for everything else in the house....
Only one person lived in the house while we got to grow there ....
Is there something i over looked ...
My next plan is to put 10 600 w hps in a 3 bedroom house and grow with no one living there I got this house to grow in for 4 months but i want to make sure my bill wont come in at like $900 or month ... I calculated each lamp should not run me over 20$ for a grand total of $205 a month and mabye like another 100 for fans and water pump.. but from what happened to the last grow im kinda puzzled as to what cost me so much last time..
