How much yellowing is ok...?

Just wondering what everyone considers an acceptable amount of yellowing fans on large plants. Noticing some on mine. Nothing extreme but but still losing so many I'm concerned. Any input appreciated

You will notice a lot of lowers yellowing and dropping leaves when the plants are starting to flower. You should see that there are a lot of single and fan leaves that are dropping and its totally normal for this time of year.
Awesome.... All areas I should of cleaned out weeks ago... Going for it tomorrow hope it doesn't shock them to much

I normally just let nature take it's course. I wait until the plant is ready to give them up with a gentle tug. Anything more and they aren't ready. Some like to deleaf as well so you could go that way if you choose just beware you may have some recovery time if you do.

Planning on cleaning shoots that the fans are attached too. Ever try lollipopping early August? Don't want to stress them but deep in the canopy it's completely shaded and no chance of anything other than larf growibg. I've always pruned in mid July. Don't want hermies out here.

Cleaning up dead or yellowing foliage will decrease your chances of disease or pest attraction like mold, mildew ect.

I have been trimming under the trees for about 2 weeks now.
