how much yield?

hi guys. i know the question is retarded and impossible to tell really.. but i just want to know what roughly to expect as its my first grow and have no idea..

ill add a few pictures of the general growscenario so you can see.

2 x 400w MH/HPS
350 m3/h extractor fan
125 m3/h intake fan
grow and flower nutes from my area ( they are well suited for MJ)
PH soil 5.8-6.5
temps stay at 29c daytime and 23c night
indica dominant bag seed

germinated seed planted april 14th
transplanted 10 litre pots may 5th
think ill flower june 2nd

so thats about 15 weeks from sprout to harvest. and pictures are from today. 2 weeks from flowering.

i just need a roughly idea for yield.. will it be like 150 grams or like i hope 1 gram per watt? aka 800 grams +-

edit: trust me i know the question is retarded.. but i still have to ask lol.

who's more retarded, the person who asks the impossible question or the person who thinks he can answer an impossible question? mmm.....

here's my guess based on what is a very good first grow you have going:

1. if you do no special training techniques (ie top, fim, LST) but continue your good handling of the plants i would guess something like 50 grams per female plant. you have a 75% chance of getting at least 4 females, but what you actually end up with is up to nature.

2. if you train the plant to enhance yield you can increase your per plant yield fairly easily to the 100 gram mark. beyond that is going to take some acquired experience and consideration of techniques like added co2.

bah forgot to say.. the 1 plant on the far left is a male. the tall one, he was undergoing LST but let him go when preflowers showed so well.
he will be used for gathering some pollen to produce some seeds.
the rest are females with destinct preflowers.

they are undergoing several techniques for learning purposes. most of them are LST and 2 FIM+pruning

well ok then. 50 gram per plant. atleast then i wont get dissapointed :P
Just dont expect and be happy with whatever you get imo.. You could pull all males realistically. Not likely but it could happen. I find it easier to just see as it comes along and leave it at that ^^

i had to run the statistics on that - less than a 1% chance of getting 9 females. book vegas
hehe probably should :) but cant leave my babies for that long ;) less than 1%...thats insane really..
abit hard too tell on one of the plants that has been FIM'ed but 90% sure its female also. worst case scenario its 8 female 2 male

Why would you ask such a question in veg?

My guess would be a lot.

I wouldn't really be asking questions pertaining to the end of the plants life cycle until you are somewhat far INTO the plants life cycle. Too many variables.

I get that your excited though, those plants looks great whatever you yield I'm sure will be a lot :hump:

hehe yea i know.. its too early to say anything certain. was just thinking someone could give a roughly normal yield number for this amount of plants.
pictures added more to show they are beeing well taken care of and are very happy :)

i guess the 50 grams per plant is a good start and hopefully my LST,FIM and pruning makes a difference for the better :)

and yes im excited.. im in the growroom like 3-4 hours a day just looking at them. if it was tomatoes i wouldnt give a shit.. but this plant is special somehow hehe

excellent use of available co2 generator.
exactly :P

have to take well care of them and train all of them perfectly as i dont know wich one will be the mother yet. so everyone gets special attention hehe...except the dude in the corner..

If your looking for huge yields, 400w bulbs are not the way to go about it. I'd say you'll get 100g per bulb without doing anything special. This is really an impossibly question to answer and since your asking one like this I can guess that your yields will be like mine when I was using a 400w and asking questions like this, about 1/4 the wattage used.

GL tho.

that could well be, but ive read the bible so many times i know it like the back of my hand, so i feel confident ill minimum get a average yield. several different techniques beeing used on this grow for learning purposes and seeing first hand what the different techniques does to the plant.

anyways. we will see what the turnout is :) could just aswell be aborted the entire grow as temps are increasing by the day with summer coming.. just cant afford AC'ing the crap out of that room. let alone buy the AC in the first place hehe

ill keep this post in mind and post my end yield when that time comes :)

thanks for input guys
