one more thing shoud i soak my rockwool in nutrient mixed water or just add it along in the res?

keep the water 1/2 inch to an inch below the net pot. soak your rockwool in phed water not nute water then just add nuted water during watering. rockwool is ph of 7 out of the package so i would start by soaking it in some 5.0 5.2 water and then go from there ph testinging your tank after nutes are added
