cuts off fan leaves first them trims the rest. after all leaves are off he removes bud from stem and puts it in cardboard box with no top no more than maybe 6 inches high. once a day he moves buds around and its dry in 4 or 5 days. place in jars and check the smell once a day for several days. thats it...easiest way i've seen. he cant let it cure cause they smoke it up too fast.lol....try it.

he actually learned by accident. he was in a pinch and got his lady friend to trim up his 4 plants. well,she cut the buds right off from the stems before she was supposed to and he thought she had fkd up the crop. buuut,when it dried nobody could tell the difference between dried,cured,buds left on stem to dry,buds cut off stem before drying,etc.. i guess they arent connoseurrs but wtf it gets em where they wanna go...leads me to believe that a lot of this curing stuff is over rated.

what does it say about people who've smoked for 45 yrs and cant tell a difference between cured or not?...i personally dont smoke(vape) enough to know the difference. i know these folks and theyre not bullshittin.

Curing isn't over rated. Lol. Hang a bud to dry for 5-7 days and smoke it... Hang a bud for 5-7 days cure for a couple weeks then smoke it... Tell me if you don't notice the taste smell and the smoke isn't better

probably the biggest myth and the most misinfo on the net comes with the DRY AND CURE.. people if ur going to take 2-6 months to flower out some BEAUTIFUL BUDS... just to be impatient as fuck and ruin a perfectly good crop by drying it to fast.. and not curing.. is just stupid.. growing good weed is only 75% of the work. the other 25% is super important to get a nice smooth ass potent smoke.. honestly. ur shit should smoke like cigs . nice white ash .. nice smell and taste.. not harsh as fuck.. or burn black ash crap.. so ill say this 1 time.. and if u listen. ull honestly get better smoke then u have if u grew a good plant.. curing n dryin takes time . but once u get it .. its good to go .. so u want to pull all ur fan leaves that don't have trichomes on them.. off 3-7 days before u chop them down. then.. wen u chop.. hang the full plants upside down on a line until the smaller branches stems snap.. and don't bend.. I like to dry in low temps with 55% humidity.. and temps between 60-73 degrees F.. 10-20 days of hang drying.. once stems are ready snapping and not bending start trimming and into jars it goes. burping the jars as needed 1-3 times a day for the first week.. and then 1 time a day for the second-third week.. or until its evenly dry and then jar up and let them cure .. opening once a week after that. if this is not working for u .. im not sure what to tell ya lol PM ME and ill help u .

my friend has been doin this 40 years and he said if you grow it right you should be able to just dry it and smoke it. ,lol...but i think you are missing my point. i didnt say curing didnt make any difference. i said that they all said they couldnt tell a difference.. you curing nazis are hilarious..

i still think curing is over rated. i didnt say it couldnt make a difference. you cant tell another person what ingredients to put on their hamburger. lol....if yer friend likes his coffee black does that make him a moron?...see what i mean.....everybody is different.

I don't wana be a dick.. but honestly.. I been growing now for a little over 8 years.. and every single person I know.. that's old.. grows outdoors.. and don't give a fuck about trimming let alone curing it right.. im sorry if I offend anyone.. but ya I have done the tests.. dry trim. wet trim.. no cure.. cure.. flush.. no flush.. and REAL STONERS.. can tell the difference between everything. im telling u now. ya if it works for him cool.... but id never waste 2-3 months to smoke shit that wasn't cured properly.. don't get me rong.. I have tried every which way.. and after seeing how big of a difference it brings out in the smell taste.. and how much smoother it can be.. the main thing is the SLOW DRY.. 14 days is perfect. usually.. ull start to see the smaller branches turn yellowish brown.. losing chlorophyll .. that's wen u know that ur getting rid of alont of chlorophyll before the cure.. meaning u could smoke it before even jarring it up and it would be fine.. but a few months later.. or even a week or 2 later cured.. ull find a huge difference in product..

So your saying, if you cut a bud and quick dry it.. It's not going to burn your throat or anything? I'm sorry but it does mine..

If it isn't cured for like 2 weeks, it burns my throat..lol when its cured it doesn't... Plus it smells better

a friend likes his coffee black, I can tell the difference between black coffee and coffee with creamer...

there is no right or wrong in this. if it makes no difference to you whether you like yer eggs raw or cooked just eat the sumbitch raw...there would be no reason to cook the egg just because a lot of other folks like them cooked.. although i do think curing is over rated i'm not here to tell you not to cure yer weed....potheads can be really goofy....

No there is a right and wrong way to end up with a better end product and it involves the curing process. Sure it will get you high, but it's gonna taste green and be harsh as fuck. Impatient people who skip the curing process are missing out on some good smoke. I also think some people are too stupid to tell the difference. BTW who the fuck eats raw eggs?! Take the time to cook them and I'm sure they will taste 100% better. Just like curing.

So basically your saying schwag,mid and top shelf all smells and tastes the same? No it doesn't... Why not though its all weed? Because it isn't cured or even grown correctly. Yah ok people eat raw eggs... But cooked eggs are better.. Smells and tastes better... There is a difference..

Pot heads aren't goofy... We just know the difference between shit weed, and good cured weed...

done em both. and have been outta bud. i have dried and smoked becas=use i didnt have any bud. if thats the case then why not start curing what your not smoking? there is a diffrence in taste and the way it burns. however, getting a buzz is getting a buzz. maybe by the time the first ounce is gone the rest will have cure a lil more.

IMO "curing" only gives the illusion of adding to the smell and taste of bud.

You are storing the bud in an airtight glass jar. The smells accumulate as they have nowhere to escape. When you open the jar after a period of time, you get a blast of concentrated odor and think "wow, this curing thing totally works"

If you left the bud out of the jar, exposed to the air, the smell dissipates. It also dries out more leaving it with little odor and if overly dry, a harsh smoke.

Storing your bud in glass jars is a good idea as it prevents it from drying out. I dont think it truly adds to the smell or flavor.

The key to preserving the terpine profile and smoothness of the smoke is in the drying.
