veg is the growth before flowering your plants will flower when you give them a 12/12 light cycle and no telling how much you will get depending on nutes how much light its getting every thing if this is your first time dont expect much considering it sounds like you havent done your homework

Here's what I know about soil (not much).

Don't water the base of the stem of the plant, water around the edge of the pot, or from the bottom.

Veg is the growing phase, very important as far as I'm concerned.

I let the main stem get about as fat as my ring finger (big hands) before I switch to 12/12.

Since you're growing outdoors, "when" the plant begins to flower is up to mother nature (when the days get short enough).

Give it all the sunshine you can, don't overwater. When the plant and pot feel light, it's time to water.

Finally...do some reading, RIU is an exellent source of info.

Have fun.

  • Questions:

Whats it mean to veg?: "Veg" refers to the Vegetative State of Cannabis plants. The plant is considered in it's vegetative state after it has 5 sets of leaves. A Cannabis plant can be in the vegetative state as long as you want it, it will only get bigger but note that in the vegetative state marijuana buds wont be produced.

How/When will my plant begin to flower?: Indoor growing: When you have manually changed the light cycle from 18/6 (or 24 hours) to 12 hours of light, followed by 12 hours of COMPLETE darkness. This will fool the plant into thinking fall has arrived, which is when Cannabis plants flower.

How much bud can I expect?: It all depends on how long you "veg" your plant out, refer to the Vegetative state info above.

    Does my plant look healthy?

Any problems?: None that I can see!

Anything I can do better?: Read! Not saying you cant read obviously. Just go around and find yourself a Cannabis Grow Guide that you can follow. Make sure it's a trusted source of information before you follow their guidelines though.

Tips?: Don't get your hopes up!
