How often do I need to water?

Hey guys,

I finally put out my first two plants from my first grow. The holes are about 1.5 feet deep and 2 feet wide. The plants are northern lights vegged for 43 days before plaving outdoors. I used one 1 litre aquaglobe per plant but when I returned the next day they were both empty. I placed a 2L bottle with a pinhole in it by each plant but I'm not sure how long it will last.

How often do I have to water?

Can I make a self watering system using a 5 gallon bucked with water and tubing?

Temps are 8 celcius at night, 20 celcius in day. Also, after a day of rain will I not have to water for a few days?

If you started by giving the plants a good soak, every three or four days should be adequate.

I agree i water mine about every 2 days, they are in holes that are about the size of a 2L bottle cut in half, what i am in the process of "jimmy rigging" is a 5 gallon pale with sum 1/2 inch tubing with 2 tiny holes on each side, of each plant kinda like an C around the plant itself with a slow water source... i will post sum pics tomorow or the next day and let u know how long it will water the plants for (15)
