How often should I calibrate my fancy new pen?

I recently bought a Hannah combo ph, ec, Tds, temp meter. I have been storing it in 3 drops of storage solution and cleaning it by rinsing it with the cleaning solution once a month. How do I know when I need to calibrate ph or ppm again? How often should it be done? Any other tips would be appreciated as well. Thanks

the general rule is once per week.
For greater accuracy you would calibrate before each use.

I calibrate once per month. be sure to rinse your probe off, that will help rinse away salt build up.

Regular cleaning once a month usually does the job for me... I use Bluelab Guardians.
They have inbuilt sensor that makes you perform calibration throughout usage, but a good rinse and clean storage solution works.

Every now and then I test with a Flairform liquid test PH kit as a secondary to make sure the digital's are in check

I calibrate my ph meter once a month and barely have to adjust.

I store mine with calibration solution in it because you are suppose to keep the electrode wet and once you turn the pen on it will read what kind of pH calibration solution you are using telling you if your pen is accurate

So I have calibrated a few times for pH with my Hannah combo meter. I haven't had to calibrate ec/Tds yet because I have not fed my plants as they have only been in their soil for a few weeks. I cleaned it today and re-calibrated ph with my 7.0 and 4.01 two point calibration. I am now trying to calibrate my ec with the 1413 conductivity solution. It will not calibrate. It just stays in USE mode during calibration and won't switch to OK. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I tried calibrating the ec again tonight and it worked. So I guess my only question now is making sure my ppm reading will be accurate. Since I calibrated ec, the ppm should also be calibrated correct?
