Hello and thanks for looking. How often should soil be leached in 12L containers, with mature plants, about 70 days old? I'm using Botanicare Liquid Karma, and the Botanicare veg nute. NN71

flushing. you leech the nutrients out of the soil by flushing them out. I'll go out an a limb here. If, you use properly phd water that you have let sit for 24 hours before using and mix your nute properly, using good soil with proper drainage, and get a proper run-off when you water them, then you wouldn't have to flush them. Some folks still do, I haven't heard of any outdoor growers flushing thiers. Most flush for at least a few days just before harvest. VV

Im using Botanicare veg also, The guy at the hydro shop told me i wouldnt need to flush using these nutes.. not to sure about the liquid karma tho.

just to clear things up, I don't mean flushing the last 2 weeks of flower to clear the nutes from the flowers, I mean leaching the soil to clear up salt build up in the soil, before it gets to a toxic level for the plant.

it's been hot. 90's. i feed in the morning. then in the evening i give a second watering with fresh water. otherwise i feed 4 times then water with fresh once.
