How old can I start Flowering?

I am a first time grower and I currently have three plants:joint:, bag seed.
My plants are 18 days old. How do you think they look?

Since this is an indoor grow I was wondering if at 1 month I can make the flower?
Notice that on a couple of the earlier leaves the browning, is this something that I should worry about? I believe it was because I had the light to close since I have not had this problem since.

I am growing with 2 100 watt CFL's, Blues. Notice how thick the stems are. please give me some advice, if anyone see a problem here.

I wont look throught the photos but after a month and from what i can see in the small pic boxes you are good for starting flower now.

I just went back and looked and yes go for it now the plants have plenty nodes and should produce some nice big compact buds. I looked at the temp as well and 90* is a bit high.

Flower them whenever you want. I just said they were good for flowering its up to you how tall you want them. Expect them to grow 3 times(max)from when you stick them into flowering so if they are now 7" tall and you wanted to start your flowering expect them to be 21" tall
(max)by the time it comes to harvesting.
I start flowering mine at about 8" tall.

Since you are using 100w CFLs you can't expect a whole lot of canopy penetration. You definitely don't want these plants to grow more than 3' tall. I would start flowering when they are a little over a foot tall.

in SeeMoreBuds' "how to grow 8 oz of bud for $100 or less", they start 12/12 at 16 days because of the small amount of light penetration with 150w cfl's. they harvested just over a half pound off the 3 plants with the biggest cola weighing 15 grams. throw some 150w warm light (red spectrum)cfl's in there i'd say. they're $10-$12 at most hardware stores but they're out of stock alot as far as i've seen lol.

give it a couple more days. i agree with what twentythree said though. for right now though this is what you can do. use a magnifying glass if you have one and look at the calyxes (the little pointy pear shaped things coming out of the armpits of the plant). if the calyxes are raised on a short stem, it's probably a male. if they don't have stems then they're probably female. it's not 100% accurate but a good way to get an educated guess. i'll take a picture of my clones right now before it gets dark but i'm gonna have to use the good camera to see the calyxes so it'll take a little longer. +rep plz :D k i'll have that for you in a few.

so i just found out someone has the camera right now so no macro shot but here's a sideview taken from my phone. i circled the calyxes and although you can't see from this pic, there's no stems on them. they're clones from the club. picture is of an 11 1/2" sfv og kush and a little 8" gdp bush on the right lol. can't even count how many sets of leaves there are because it's so dense. these things are flowering already too and they've just been outside with about 15 hours of sun per day. oh and sorry if you already know all the lingo but.. just in case you didn't =]

your a wonderful friend. I will get some pictures to get your opinion. Mine are not as dense I am growing three of them together (a bad practice I know lol) but I keep their environment near perfectly controlled. I keep them at 79 F 12/12 350 watts of 2700k's 2 100's and a 150. I home built a activated carbon filter to help keep smell and moisture down to a minimum to prevent any fungus's, because I grow cubes also and practice a sanitary environ. some man Im trippin right now to, shit.

here's some macro shots of those swollen calyxes on the og kush. i also have the 3 footer which isn't exploding with pistils yet but has them at the calyxes. you can see the calyxes are alot smaller on the 3 footer and they're at every point where the stems meet the branch/stalk.

hmm. not sure what you mean (white spots). you do know what you're looking for right? if they look like little immature seeds (or balls) trying to form it's male. if it looks like a tiny little hair it's female. also did you locate the calyxes?
