how old is to old to clone my plants

you might be able to get a new growth off her bottom but it is kinda hard to get her to reverse flower and then root. Can be done yet a real challenge.
 
I had I plant in flower since 4/2. Cloned the bottom branch with clonex and a jiffy pellet on 4/11. Saw 5 different root tips today :)

If you didn't know if that plant was a female you should have taken clones off of it and rooted thoes then flowered a few of them to find out the sex
 
Its not that advisable to clone once she is flowering, your clones would have to reverse the flowering stage which would delay your grow by about a month, and it could turn out to be not a strong yielding plant.
