How safe is Bidzbay?

I was browsing on Bidzbay earlier and noticed that there are holiday specials on some of Subcools beans, but how safe is Bidzbay? I don't get why they ask for your credit card info when they want you to send money order or cash. I really don't want to pass up on a deal and this is my first time ordering beans so I'm a little skeptical. Anyone?

Thanks

If this is your first time ordering then I'd highly recommend you use bizbay/breed bay. There really are some great people running that site. If you have any problems don't bother emailing them just PM one of the owners on the message board. Those guys are always lurking around. Some other sites don't offer you such a luxury. They also care about their reputation because they have a whole community on their message board.

Good folks own that site. You have nothing to worry about a scam or a rip off. That so much I can promise.

I will say Payment options are horrible. No credit card or paypal at all. They want you to either send cash or a money order plus shipping ($5) to your order. Also money orders have an extra 10% fee for some reason. Most people just end up sending them cash (your local currency) and $5 for shipping. In both cases you run the chance of losing your money in the mail which kind of sucks, but at least you know if the package gets to them you're guarantied to get your items. I've yet to hear a single bad thing about breedbay.

Bottom line, they are legit, fast shippers, cheap as hell (serious some of the best prices around), and very reliable. I had a package have a 2 week turn around time (1 week for the cash to get there and another week for the items to get to me). Thats super fucking fast considering I had to ship the money and then they had to ship the item to me from across the pond...

P.S. Don't do an order over 200 dollars at once. Thats a lot of money to lose in the off change your package gets confiscated or lost in the mail. Always break up your orders. Also it seems that most people get ripped off on orders over $200 bucks. I'd just avoid the risk if I were you.

I think I'll pull the trigger and get some beans. Does anybody know why we have to put our credit card info on there to register though? Oh and I'm back at my parents temporarily, you guys think it'll be cool if I send them here? Does everybody send to their house or elsewhere?

You can leave the credit card info blank. Only certain areas do you have to fill out (i.e. email, name, address, ect...).

You should be fine sending it to your parents home. It comes in a blank manila envelope that just has a bunch of customs stamps on it saying the package came from england.

Your parents might think it's junk or someone else's mail if its in someone else's name. If I were you I'd send the items in question under your real name (worst case scenario customs sends you letter saying they're burning your package) . To my knowledge no ones ever been busted for beans.

I will say it's best NOT to do anything illegal under your parent's roof man. See if you can ship it to a friend's address.
