How should I harvest this plant? (pic)

I've heard of several ways of harvesting. The plant that i am about to harvest in a week is kinda big. I didn't know if i should cut & hang each branch up or should i just cut the stalk at the base. There are 20+ branches on this plant so i figured cutting the stalk at the base might be a lil difficult, but if i would get better results i am all for it. What should I do?

I always do it by the branch, cola and the individual buds in some cases. Its much easier to trim it that way. I can't imagine trying to trim the buds while turning and flipping an entire plant around. Also, it seems to be much easier to trim when its freshly harvested as the leaves are all sticking straight out of the buds. If you wait, then the leaves all curl into the buds and makes it harder to snip them close without going all lizzy borden on the sweet buds.

This is my first harvest, holy shit i can't wait. I'd say 20% of the tric's are amber now. I'm starting the flushing process today. Guess i'll be using some of molasses cause everyone on here has been praising it during the flushing period before harvest. Do you flush with molasses Dan?

lol this is my first harvest and i can't fucking wait. My babies have came along ways since late April. I'd say about 20% of the tric's are amber right now. And I am starting the flushing process today. Guess i'll be using molasses since everyone on here praises that shit during the flush. Do you use molasses Dan?

I've never used molasses but that's because I can't keep watch on my little girls and I am afraid the sweet smell will attract animals that might dig them up.

I've had several digging instances already this year and don't want to do anything to attract more varmints in.

Otherwise, I'd like to try it because of all the positive feedback the idea has from other growers that use the technique.

I bought a jar of grandma's unsulphured molasses and a couple of gallons of distilled water. i can usually water that particular plant with almost a full gallon. Guess i'll just use a tablespoon full with that gallon. I have been pissing around my grow area to keep deer away lol, i know they don't like the scent so that should hopefully keep them away. as for other pests, im hoping they don't touch my baby!

the molasses is spread out so sparingly, its more of food for the microbes in the soil, don't worry about it man, most kids live by it

thanks chizza, you have been most helpful for me during my grow. I didn't want to harvest soon but i am having so much problems with pest, like spidermites and thc worms. i am afraid to leave what i have out there so thats why im just going to harvest to try to save my plant from anymore pest devouring it.
