How Small do you Trim?

I'm just finishing off my third grow ever. The first two times, I tried to trim everything other than the smallest, pea-sized buds in order to build up a bit of a stash. Now the small ones are going into bags of trim I give to a buddy to make bubble hash for himself.

I'm at the point where I feel like saying, "screw it," to myself and am getting lazy to trim little popcorn-sized buds.

At what point do you just say, "Fuck it, I'm not trimming those small ones," to yourself? How small do you go before they end up in the trim pile? What size does a bud have to be, for you, to make it into the glass mason jars?

Just curious. Thanks.

I find if I defoliate properly(yeah, yeah, I know you don't like defoliation) there is very little popcorn to clean up, though I imagine with your outdoor stuff defoliation would be only partially effective anyway.

As far as trimming, somewhere between loonie and golf-ball size is my cutoff, depending on my mood on trimming day. Anything smaller than that gets tossed in the popcorn pile untrimmed. I dry these and when I have a medium sized freezer bag full it gets given away.
I find it amusing that this stuff is still better quality than a lot of the street weed I've bought over the years. The friend I usually give the popcorn bags to loves them.

I'll trim a single flower. It's my herb and I don't want to pay for store bought weed so even a single flower will fill my one hitter.

I do leave some sugar leaf on the tiny buds and it's all for me so I don't mind being bud greedy.

Privy and private use so trim when and what I feel like, not super picky when I do. Since I vape only the trichs on sugar leaves are fine and the taste too.

My plants are pretty big and there are areas that don't get enough light despite my best attempts to lollipop/defoliate them. I typically end up with 4 or 5 pounds of larfy nugs every cycle (45 - 55 pounds of marketable flower). I just use all the tiny buds and trim leaf to make rosin. No need to trim it (my girl does all the trimming around here). Nobody wants a bag of popcorn nugs anyways lol. The rosin ends up as my personal smoke, fresh batch every harvest. Some rosin gets used to make edibles also.
