So I'm six days into my cfl stealth grow ill[SUB][/SUB] post a full journal when I'm not on a phone posting the biggest reason for this post is I'm concerned about plant 1 . She started yellowing and canoeing some last night after I gave her some wateIMG_20130702_213815.jpgr mixed with peroxide (1 pint) to o(1 gallon water)

The soil is a "Prof" potting mix I believe the Nokia was 30 10 15 I might have the last two mixed up but I know high in N. No additional nutes

My Ph fluxuates between 7.5 and 8

Under 174 wats of 27 k and 26 Watts of 5k trying to mix the spectrum some or is the 5 k as waste?
if u need Mrs info. Let me knowIMG_20130702_214006.jpgIMG_20130702_214006.jpg

If you are using hydrogen peroxide then they probably aren't overwatered (which was my first guess) could be a temperature problem. Doesn't look bad though, let her grow.

Okay thanks, just can't stay around 78, I'm trying to 12 and 12 from seed I've read that a mic spectrum of getting better than a straight 27k spectrum does anyone have any suggestions with this should I run all 27k bulbs or run 1 or 2 5 K bulbs to help with. Growth while they're young

mix spectrum is best 2700k (yellow light) if typically for flower in veg it will make your plants grow tall and lanky

6500k/5000k (blue light) will promote foilage growth more green equals more budsites equals more smoke

a mixed spectrum will give you the best of both worlds

dont test the soil just test the water i dont think anything is wrong with her new growth tends to come out in a lighter color

I would use 5000k bulbs now, and save the 2700 for when she starts to flower. Do not feed that plant for at least 2 weeks. There will be enough food in the soil for the plant, and you do not want to overfeed.

One pint might of been too much I do about 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon water. Which is 113 ML (You're doing about 475ml)

Lets talk water, you using distilled or tap? Might need a supplement or let it evaporate.

Also like Spex420 said test your water run off not soil. After you water it with nutes or what not. Let it drain and put a small amount of water in the corner and collect it as run off and test it.

i don't test runoff at all i just test the water going in

also why are you using h202 in soil? please explain this to me whatever the case you could use fresh tap water the residual chlorine will work the same as h202

i don't use h202 in hydro for that matter i just use clorox has the same effect better imo oxidizes better and leaves a good residual amount after it dissipates and its like 98% chlorine

The water going in is what you would like it to be. The run off is what it actually is. You have to take into consideration the condition of the soil already. You want to get a total picture of whats going on.

I assume he is adding it for a reason and not just to add it.

H202 feeds the good aerobic bacteria and kills the bad anaerobic bacteria. It also introduces radical oxygen atoms which oxidize elements, making them more available for the roots to assimilate.

I haven't done hydro in so long, so no comments there. However i'm not a fan of bleach other than to clean out items and kill fungus. I do hear it works similar at about .2ml/gallon.

Thanks for the replies I will add another 5 k bulb and test the runoff instead of. The soil that was a tually a ? I had,, I'm using tap water that I let evaporate a few days, and the thought I had w the peroxide was to help get rid of unwanted bacteria a d to try to help absorb nutes better since they will have a short life

Soil grows should be closer to 6.8...higher ph's will lock out certain other elements
you may have hard water from your tap idk but you can use a pinch of sulfur to bring the ph down a bit.
