I have an exhaust and a intake in my room, the exhaust is at the top of the room and the intake is at 6 feet. The CO2 is heavier than air and will settle to the floor. The trick here is, the roots breathe oxygen and the plant breathes CO2. so you need both. I dont know that the 'dioxide' is enough oxide or oxygen for the roots. I would do both.
I would tho, try to seal the door and any cracks up the walls the first 4 feet or so.
I remember reading somewhere that you can seal the room and only have CO2 in there (didnt ever figure out if that was true). I wouldnt because you have to go in there.
I say seal the door with weather striping and give er hell. :)

co2 controller is the best option, will turn the exhaust fan off when the co2 is on, shut the co2 off when the humidity gets too high

If you look at my albums, you will see that i am doing just fine. I know if you over think things you tend to just drive yourself crazy. i dont know if you can see the bottle in my room. Its the tall 50gal. its only $30 to refill, and it last 2-4 weeks depending on how much you feed them. i just manually shoot it in the room for about the same amount of time and ofteness. i know this isnt the best way, but if you dont make the fluctuation to great, they are fine. they are strong plants.
