So I mix my own soil up
40% sunshine grow mix
30% potting soil
15% ewc and malibu compost
Recipe says 10% of aeration (perlite)
But I think adding 50% aeration is better for me

as for nutrients DRY: I have experience using dr.earth which is 2 tbs per gallon of soil for top dressing and if mixing soil I’ll use 3 tbs instead

I’ll be trying out roots organic terp tea grow on one plant , directions for amending soil calls for 1tsp -1tbs per gallon .. but tht isn’t helpful for me . Like which would be a regular dose of terp tea 1tsp? 1tbs ? Or somewhere in between? ..

Like with dr.earth it’s 2TBS per gallon of soil so I know tht would be a regular dose/application

So anyone have experience with terp tea? And how much to use per gallon of soil to top dress with ?what is a Regular/medium strength dose/application ?

How I’ve been amending with dr.earth And other additives to my own soil mix..

per gallon of soil

2tbs dr.earth
1tbs azomite
1tbs mosquito dunks

as supplemental tea feeding every 3 weeks :
Fish emulsion
Molasses
Floralicouis plus
Ewc

I was using the fish Emulsion and molasses just mixed but not bubbling overnight

but I’ve started bubbling/brewing it which should be better than not ..

Anyways my main question is on the roots terp tea and how much should be used to amend per gallon of soil @ medium/regular strength/dose

oh also is roots terp tea fast acting like fish emulsion or like any other liquid nutrient?

I just finished a grow amending my soil with Terp Tea Bloom at almost twice the recommended rate. At 1 tsp or 5 ml x 7g should be 35 ml, I used a 1/4 cup or 60 ml. Using the recommended amount plus more didn't seem like enough. My plants struggled even after a topdress and TTB tea. I very seldom have to topdress when I amend with Dr Earth products 1 cup per 7g which is a little light, but it always works fine.
I'm going to amend that same soil for another grow and this time I'm going to use a cup and see what happens.
Roots is very vague on amending. They give amounts for topdress but no way is that enough for amending unless you also topdress regularly which I don't.
For the Uprising line they mention they did the work for us if making a super soil but fail to include amounts to accomplish that for a water only grow. I wrote them and the answer wasn't any different than the online directions.
Good luck and happy growing.
