How to best trim

Going into my 2nd week of flower. Had a small bit of a water issue where some leaves died off and never got to taking them all off yet. (Will this weekend) That aside, anyone have a recommendation on how to best trim this up to maximize the yield and make final harvesting more streamline? Any general recommendations? 3 plants in total.

Drying and Curing Cannabis
  1. Trim away excess leaves and large stems after harvesting.
  2. Hang buds upside down in a dry, cool, and dark place with good air circulation (e.g grow tent with exhaust fan, room with oscilating fan not blowing directly on the buds).
  3. Maintain temperature (65-72°F) and humidity (60-65% RH) for 7-14 days until stems snap instead of bending.
  4. Trim away remaining leaves and transfer buds to an airtight container.
  5. Store the jar in a cool, dry, and dark place for 2-4 weeks, opening the jar daily to release any excess moisture and promote even curing.

I guess I was looking more toward advice on trimming during early flower. Friends have said the smaller buds on these strains are a pain to deal with so he lollipops his stuff. I've never done that specifically and wasn't sure if that was beneficial or not. Wanted also to see peoples opinions on how the plants look overall?
