from my short experience in making seeds I can recommend you
- if you want feminized seeds you will need to spray some branches with something. tear mist works great but it expire after one year in my opinion, so buy only one and plan it ahead. (it doesn't written on the bottle so you have to pray you get decent bottle, but in this industry no one mark expiration dates...). those chemicals do not change the plant genetics, so after making a male branch you can kill it
- regular seeds are easy to make but its limited to some strains, most big companies do not sell regular seeds
- I try to make as many females as possible - sea of green. I use different females. even tiny flower will produce many seeds
- kill the mail after 3 or 4 weeks. the seed producing take time and if you continue pollinating it will take longer
- I try to make flush but the plants do not like it, the seeds get stuck and dont turn brown.
- the flowers take longer to dry. I put each plant in big paper bag and it takes few weeks to dry
