How to flower

Hey yall. Im new to this and just started to flower my plants about a week and 2 days ago. I dont have flowers yet, but i have a question. Where will the flowers be? out of the main stalk grow fan leaves, and then shoots that grow their own fan leaves. These are the potential clones. What i wanted to know was where will i see the flowers showing up. Which joints? Also, my shoots have two nodes of fan leaves on them. Do i have to wait until the shoot is done growing in length for it to start flowering? I vegged for 3 weeks in a hydro dwc setup. Please help me out i need to know the sex

Most strains will show sex in 10-21 days. Look for the flowers at the very top of the plant. They seem to show up there first.

Here is what a female will look like, white hairs emerging by the nodes...well and I guess a hermie will too :/

so the bottom branches havent stopped growing yet. do they have to stop growing for flowers to start forming?

The answer to that is no, it will most likely do the opposite and grow a shit load! My bottom branches (that have multiple nodes) grew like 5 inches in a matter of days when flowering started!

Nope... they gone keep on gro-win (forest gump voice)... I trim the bottom 3rd of my plants so the engery isn't wasted stretching for light, but focused on sending it up to the cola!

ok so my plants 1 foot tall. is the top just going to grow flower or is it going to continue to make more nodes? i appreciate all the help from everyone

it'll definitly double if not triple the size it is now! You'll prolly get 5-7 more nodes pending on the strain... varies a lot for me... but she's gonna branch out for those lower bud sites...

If it gets too tall, especially with my sativas, I'll resort to LSTing them or supercropping if nessisary. Indica Dom. plants for me are the best for trimming the bottom and getting a HUGE massive donkey dick bud that ppl shell out the big bucks for just cuz of the apeal... better them than me!
