Im going to have to flush one of my plants but have no clue on how to do it. Isn't this going to cause overwater and root rot? I am clueless on how to go about this. Thanks.

If you are asking how to flush your soil of nutrients, i don't know and will wait for soil growers to help.

If you are asking how to flush your hydro system before harvesting, I recommend using a rinse solution (like Flora Clean or something like that) for the last two weeks before harvest. Then drain your reservoir and deny all water for 24-48 hrs. before harvesting.

I take my plant to the sink and slowly pour a few gallons of water on letting the excess go down the drain, wait a little while and repeat 1 or 2 more times. This would be if there was some serious nute burn or I thought I might lose the plant. I don't want to stress them any more than I have to.

I dunno. It just seems like everything is dry especially my soil. I water a little every night but a few hours later my soil is so dry it crumbles to the touch. My babies are looking a bit stressed as well. Help

dont water every nite.....not good..
when you can stick your finger about an inch or two down in the soil and it is dry, then its time to water. the top of the soil will dry quick from the lights....I just let the plants tell me when they need water...they get droopy

You need to water thoroughly, not so much frequently. If your soil is dry, water the plant until water comes out of the bottom of the pot. This ensures all of your soil is moist and also leaches salts every time you water. Collect the runoff and check the ph of that water, as long as it is only 10-15 % runoff. Also, if your water is running around the soil in the pot and not through the soil, add a couple drops of detergent to your water so it will penetrate the dry soil.

i just go with thew weight of the pot, when they get just a touch of droop and the soil wight is rather light ill give them a good dose of 1.2 liters for 3 gallon pots.
