If they are over watered wait for them to get thirsty, we want to reduce the amount of stress the plants gets as much as possible.
Firstly work out how big the containers are each plant is in, if they are in 10 litre pots then you need to ph balance 5 times that amount of water and just pour it all into the pots to wash the grow medium out. So for each 10 litre pot I will need 50 litres of PH balanced water.
Dont just use straight tap water, let the water rest for 24 hours before hand, if possible, as its likely there is a good amount of chlorine in the water. Then PH balance it before using to flush.

You should def wait til the soil dries out completely. if you are flushing due to a nutrient problem, then over watering will make it worse. i flush my pots with as many gallons of water as gallons of soil in the pot. meaning i have a 2 gallon pot so i flush with 2 gallons of water. a guy named Green Cross has a great thread on it that helped me a lot.

good luck!

you need to run chlorine free (water left without a lid for 24 hours, RO water, rain water, AC water, spring water etc etc) PHed water and run it through the pot until the water comes out pretty clean.

thats about it.

if your a heavy feeder you need more water. if your a light feeder you need less.

i left the water 24 hours to reduce the chlorine, then Ph's it and added a small amount of nutes to leech the system. I tend to use 3 to 4 times the container size, so a 20 litre pot would be flushed witrh 60 litres :)
