yes it's foil, i haven't been able to find any mylar/panda around. it's next on my list.

yes, i expect about 7 oz off this plant. there are about 11 swelling colas of at least 14'' right now and it's less than 5 weeks into flowering. i got 3.12 oz off my first grow in this setup (had half the lighting i do now and it was a sativa, compared to this more indica hybrid). i realize that a yeild that high is atypical and never said that op should assume he would have results like this. i merely pointed out what i was able to do given my specific conditions and speculated that he could meet his goal (based on a superior sounding setup). i don't have any journals, sorry. i can send you pics and a dry weight after i harvest in a couple weeks if you want. i don't appreciate negativity man, i was just offering another grower some encouragement. if you have an issue with that you suck

Try Super Skunk from Nirvana.... I get 0.9GPW with a 430W Hortilux in a parabolic & GH Flora series / Pro Mix
S.S. isn't very skunky... more sweet than anything else

15 years ago. study that, learn the basics. All this LST SCROG its bullshit. All that is is pruning and bracing your plant. fucking basic. IDk I feel like going on a rant but it's not worth it. All this watt per gram vs strain vs area.. do what the fuck you can with what you got and do it right thats all there is to it.
get a fucking $20 grower's guide instead of asking someone. do the research yourself and the rewards are much greater

You can do it if you get everything right man, I pulled it off 2nd and 3rd grow with 600w hps setup and a few DWC bins. I'm finding I'm having more trouble these days lol. Beginners luck I guess.

you can do it man. maybe you won't get it your first round but you will get there. my first grow i pulled 10 oz in a 1 foot x 3 foot space with a 400w. now i grow a single plant in DWC scrog in a 1m x 1m space under a 600w and get 1 - 1.5 lb strain dependant. sometimes i get much much less too. but it can be done and it can even be done in a first grow. funny thing is i breezed through my first grow then i seemed to have a bad streak for ages where i just couldn't get anything right. i learned from my mistakes and now I'm pulling decent yields of top quality bud every time.

i would be willing to bet all the people saying it can't be done have never tried a scrog in there lives. scroggers know where the big yields are at.

and home brewer is right i can say from experience DWC has its ups and downs. its great once you get it figured out but i had so many issues with root rot i don't even want to think about it. having roots in water all the time is tricky everything has to be just right.

ya thats how I started indoors I bought jorge's bible and watched his grow videoes on youtube and I have not had to ask any noob questions at all but I'm always learning more from forums. I say a good grow book is the best thing to start with and forums are better for getting more advanced info from than begginer info.

well i wasn't so much helpful as i was encouraging lol. i actually agree with the others go get a grow book. i was reading the growers bible since i was about 14 over and over end to end and even then i grew outdoors from when i was about 16 so when i started growing indoors at a ripe old age of 28 i had some idea of what i was doing and still found hydro and indoor to have a pretty steep learning curve. but yeah it can be done. just don't get your hopes up too high.

but there is no better way to learn than to get in there and do it. so go for it son

Hey man I've got a 600w hps in a 4x4x6.5 tent with 4 plants LST'ed in SOIL and I pull 4-5 ounces per plant every time since my first grow. I'm on my 4th now and still getting the same results. If your doing DWC then I'm sure you could pull a pound. LST really does the trick. I could show you some pics of my setup if you like, but yea you can do it.

Lolz i pulled 4oz with a 250hps in a cramped closet with crap nutes from a lowryder purple gems thats only spose to yield 14-28 g's on my first ever hydro grow, all i did was pay attention to how she reacted to everything in her life, not bad for a noob on a 90 day strain btw the smoke was pretty decent
