How to get a med. card IF

I have no previous chronic illnesses or pain. Is it even possible? From what I've read you have to show documented proof of a chronic problem that MJ relieves.

Basically my question is, it possible to get a med. card without having any "health" problems?
 
make some up! lol. tell them you have problems with depression or anxiety and this is the best medicine you've managed to find :)
 
Both of those would work if it were that easy? Is it? I live in Washington which is indeed a medical state, but I fail to believe doctors could be so loose about giving away licenses to grow and use pot, even if I slid him a nice bribe. If anyone knows if anyone in WA who helps is loose with med cards let me know. lol
 
It is that easy. Most people have some kind of chronic pain that they don't even think about. A kink in your neck or carpal tunnel or tennis elbow or something all of those every day pains qualify and if you don't have one fake it, they can't tell. See your doc twice complaining of that pain, then you do have a record and that's all it takes.
 
i got my med card witout any medical history or even saw my doctor face. talked with him 30 min over the phone send him money, im legal!!. too bad your in washington.
 
You'd be surprised that you may qualify without even knowing

I have plenty of record for my pain so it is easy, but anxiety is a big one and my meds help me cope with all the stupid people in the word a little bit better
 
without abusing the system... you may have things that may be noticeable if you did not already smoke?
Now I am sure there is a 'what's happening' mag in your neighborhood? See a Dr who specializes in that and who is advertising it. There is your best place to start and I am sure you will be fine.
 
hey man im in washington as well, other side of the state though lol. I actually just went down to CBR (dont know if they have that clinic in seattle or not) about three weeks ago, and should be hearin back any day. shoulda heard back by last monday, so Ima call em on monday and see whats up lol. But yea I went in and prepaid (20 dollar discount :bigjoint: ) and gave a release of medical records. Shouldnt be a problem getting it since I have multiple doctor visits and prescriptions, but its just for stomach pain. more like stomach ulcer but painful all the same lol. And if you look at this way, there like any other business and mainly want your money. there not gonna wanna see that 180 bucks walk back out the door, i think they'd rather give me a card lol.

then what, they sent you the card or you picked it up or something? This sounds too good to be true
 
actually they sent me the rec with the doctor signature. i didnt waste money on getting a card since all u need is a rec.
 
That doesn't happen in this state and probably not Washington either. California has different laws and requirements and things aren't looked into at all really.

Here in Oregon they do look so you just do have to meet the minimum requirements and I did easily.

The process was:

I went to THCF clinic and they gave me a medical release form. I gave that to my doc, they faxed my records to thcf, thcf said looks good come see our doc...
I saw the THCF nurse/then doc and she(the doc was a woman) did the recommend based on seeing me and my old medical records.
I took all the paperwork which THCF made sure I had right, straight to the state office nearby and was legal that day. However...

Months later while I'm still waiting on the actual card I get a letter saying they are confirming my condition with my regular doctor. Another month later I had my card.

I have no clue about Washington really but I just have a feeling they are probably closer to our laws, and do check. The requirements are minimal though so just meet them.

The only req. i meet might be chronic muscle spasms, but they aren't daily. My legs cramp and contract involuntarily at night and early morning sometimes.

Just found out there's a THCF 15 minutes from my home.
 
doesnt have to be daily, if you have been to a doc about it then its on your records and they can pull it up. and yea theres definitely a THCF in seattle, wonder if its any faster than the clinic im using. am currently a caregiver, but want to be able to have all my fifteen plants lol
 
Here is the breakdown.

If you are in California, you will not have a problem, if you are in another state like Oregon, you might have one.

In a place like Oregon or Montana, you have to prove need through paper trail/medical records prior to your first visit.

In a place like California, you can practically find a Doctor anywhere that will take between 80 and 150$ to hand you a license for no good reason at all. I would not do this myself though. I and friends close to me have had many problems with this, go to a real Doctor, that isn't a pill mill for pot patients. One that actually answers their verification line, and that your local County Health & Safety Services has heard of and worked with. This will help you in the long run. If you want the paper work on your wall to matter, and to stay out of jail and not just get into a Hash Bar, then find a legit Doc. . .

I don't know how they compare to the others but they made it completely stoner level easy and I never expected it to be so fast. I had it done within days of them receiving my medical records. I think you qualify all you need to have said is that you have pain from the spasms and chronic just means it keeps happening not a one time thing. It doesn't specify daily or weekly or anything.
