Co2 is debatable for practicality. Facts..Co2 implementation occurs best at 80-90 degrees farenheit that is the temperature where the stomata (pores) can readily use it)..Co2 implementation you require a montior those cost a lot..CO2 implementation works best in a closed system so no intake and no exhaust. keep in mind marijuan does not grow when temperatures are close or exceed 90 degrees farneheit. Co2 implementation is specifically used for vegetation for what it can do is make your vegetating plants grow faster so basically can cut your vegetating time...The spikes of CO2 implementation can occur and its nasty to see co2 burns on your foliage. There are ghetto ways to produce co2 but it cant produce the volume to make a difference only co2 generators, propane burners ( generates alot of heat and dangerous in grow rooms), and ozone machines can do it costs a but load for those. Me personally I just use an intake and exhaust for air circulation and I meet minimum requirements for co2 content in room. Personally Co2 implementation is laborious and not cost effective for personal grows now if you had a high end industrial grow where you already have pumped thousands in and are doing hundreds to thousands of plants then yes it would be feasible.ok so what method do you use? how do i get CO2 pumped onto them ?
the exhale bags? was talking to someone on here before about them. one guy has one and its putting out 1400ppm in his 4x4 room and his local hydro store has one thats 9 months old and still putting out the same amount. they are SUPPOSED to be good for 6 months but people have been saying they have had them work longer.works fine lasts about 3 months

that is very usefull. from advice that i have received from a few people i think i will start 2 veg at around the 2 month mark! cheersfeed your plants only when thay need it i have been growing for 17 years and i need help now and agan dont no it all but i have 21 plants over 6 feet tall it is over 2 months in veg time to start buding whateing for september
Per plant yes totally agree but not necessarily per meter square.but you dont yield nearly as much as if u veg'd and thats a fact. theres a nute called gravity and it suppose to give u huge buds but word on the streets is u dont want to smoke shit that had that in it.
if u filled a sq meter with vegd plants they would yield more then 12/12 filled plantsPer plant yes totally agree but not necessarily per meter square.
I have already started doing a 18/6 grow and plants are looking good, and also I have female seeds, so I shouldn't need to worry about them being male?? But thanks for the advice I will take it on board!Ok, ok.....some good advice here dude, but also some unneeded advice. Thats just my opinion and here is also just my opinion:
As a new grower who is LEARNING to grow cannabis, forget about the CO2. Do a 12/12 from seed grow, there are many good examples on this site. Why 12/12 from seed you ask?
A few reasons. First, you will have a manageable power bill. Second, your plants will show sex around day 20-25, thereby saving you many weeks of wasted time should your plants be male. Third, it's easier to keep your schedule straight and if you 12 dark at night you also have less risk of light leaks.
Search this site for some 12/12 grows. I'd recommend "supchaka" early grows and also "del6666". Those 2 guys are awesome 12/12 from seed growers.
Thats my opinion, make of it what you will.
Bfields I got some info for you, if you go onto YouTube and type 'CO2 generator' it shows you how to make exactly what it says for next to nothing. You need a bag of sugar, some yeist and a couple of old pop bottles. Search it and you will see, a friend told me about it I am going to do it for flowering!I'm glad I came across this thread because I was thinking of adding cO2 to my room, but after a lot of research I've found that it's too expensive for my budget.
I might invest in that cO2 bag ... for $17, I think it's worth a try ... but on the other hand it sounds too good to be true.
Anybody got any more info on this?
