Experience is the key, dont overwater, its better to transplant then to start in a huge pot, helps the roots get bigger faster. Dont over feed, always use preventative sprays during veg. If you grow outside spray bt for bud worms, I recommend adding lime to your soil mix at the beginning of grows so you dont have to ph so often,. you should use bamboo sticks an anchor or a net for support sooner rather than later .lots of airflow, keep your humidity lower during flower, keep the growroom clean. Dont keep walking in and out, just do what you got to do and everything will work out fine.. try some lst .

Like everyone mentioned above learning and practicing proper techniques is definately a huge factor in nice robust plants ....in my experience a lot of those huge huge stocks you see in pictures are either in massive containers or outdoors are a combo of both .....a good size stock is something you have to judge by how big of a pot your growing in also .....but just remember the kiss method ....and more roots more fruits ....GL

topping and bigger pots prefer 20 gallon net pots and a min of 4 months veg and 3 toppings . total of shit 32 tops . . also having the light as close as possible to prevent any stretch at all and have a obsolating , typo i know fuck it a fan that moves back and forth running 24/7 this will get ya monster stems in the base of the plant i am talking more then an inch around easily . and lolly pop the bottom branches ,

Big pot, not too much nutes, not too little nutes, enough air flow, enough light, and light close enough to the canopy that the plant doesn't feel the need to stretch too much.

Do you think Voodoo Juice and B-52 would do the trick
man u can dump nutes on them all day long all it comes down to is the grower nutes are there to help them grow u are god u controll everything so if u fuck up u are going to fuck up you're plants just like a baby u don't look after you're kids feed them 2 minute noodles everyday they grow up to be tall trashie and just pure shit smokeing meth and selling you're dvd player but if u look after them feed them right give them a good healthy place to live they will reward you by going to a good school and seeing u every 2nd weekend when u end up it the nurseing home see were i am going with this ?

I didnt think wind flow had much effect on stem thickness tbh.
I was wrong once before , but I was actually right even though they said I was wrong lol . idk if wind does or not it seams like it has to make the plant want to grow stronger . if there was no wind then the plant could be a pansy plant like pee wee herman , with the wind it has to tuff it out . just like us guys when the old lady starts bitching for no reason at all have to tuff it out .

I think the idea was debated many times and the mechanical action of the wind did strenthen the stems but at that point the wind flow was too much for good growth.
