How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

Hi how's it Growing guys?

I'm out in Jamaica doing an idiot grow and the heat is crazy!!!

So wanted some advice from someone that has grown in the heat!!

Temperature right now is 87 degrees Fahrenheit and I haven't turned on the Lights yet. I've got a 600w hps with cool tube and AC is not an option at this point tho that would sort out a lot, maybe later on.

So Basically the heat is gonna be in the 90s I know all about what temperature I should be at but I'm asking what's the best way to grown in the heat as I have no choice.

Been looking into get a Co2 and stuff like that

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks guys are

I'm not in Jamaica, lol, but similar heat as you etc, and with high humidity too. My flower tent is in the garage, and I am waiting to see if I am going to need a dehumidifier or not. So far I just had to crank up my exhaust fan a little and crank up my circulating fan inside the tent to full blast. Made sure no wind burn on the plants, and despite the temp in the high 80's when you open the tent it's nice and cool and breezy. So I am hoping this movement of fresh air will offset the higher temps.

I have actually been looking into growing with the temps instead of trying to fight them, and at least so far for veg the plants are loving the heat and humidity, just keep the air moving.

Just my $0.02, I will keep an eye on this thread for any other advice you get.

Cheers :peace:

Thanks bro. Where are you? I feel like the plants can take more heat in veg but not sure about flowering. Think I'm gonna get a dehumidifier too

I went to jamaica once. $12,000 dollars for 2 ounces of schwag. Then my bf got his hand lopped off for stealing a banananana (sp? - i never know when to stop with the nanas)

Best story ever, bro! You should tell it again! Also, fuck Jamaica. It's like a rasta version of Detroit. It's over played and smells like dicks.

87 fahrenheit ambiet temperature, so when you switch that 600 watter on, the heat is going to go through the roof (so to speak). You better get a cooltube mate and a powerful fan. Also go with what the others have been saying, C02 now is going to be a must probably.

Just do C02 properly, get gauges and monitor those ppms, don't rely on DIY C02 generators.

Assuming you're running hydro.

Run a chiller. If you keep your rez temps around 65 f you can have air temps up to 100 with a fan. It wouldnt be any different than outside because the ground keeps the roots cool.
