''Scientists are not exactly sure how milk sprays work, but most think proteins in the milk interact with sun to create a brief antiseptic effect. Any fungi present are "burned" into oblivion, but there is no residual effect after that. In order to be effective, milk sprays must be used preventively, must be applied in bright light, and should be repeated every 10 days or so.''Milk? If It kills things? I wouldn't drink It. Please further convey Your thoughts and reasoning. Curious. Apollogies OP.

I tried all the home remedies with no good results on large over crowded plants. Baking soda and milk stained my leaves. H2O2 oxidized this. Vinegar left no damage. But PM was back with a vengeance in a couple days. I ended up throwing a huge piece of plastic over my plants. Sprayed my entire tent "greenhouse" surface and all hardware with 70% alcohol. Removed plastic and waited 24 hours. Then applied a foliar of Regalia "CG" at 2oz/gal. 3 days later and I introduced into watering and food at the same rate. Effects were noticeable in few days. Repeat both every 7 days with foliar and feeding being 3 days in between eachother. Almost 2 weeks later and I am happy to say my PM appears to be almost completely gone.@MICHI-CAN I got my pm back during flower can you use the H2O2 on buds during flower ive tried apple cider vinegar 2tsp and quart of water didnt seem to work and 3:1 ratio i tried on some leafs it works but that seems to strong of apple cider vinegar to spray on buds. We've had a wind and rain storm since Monday ends tomorrow so had to put all my plants under my patio and pm is spreading all my buds look so good don't want to lose or wreck them one bud on one my plants has a brown spot bud rot rest bud looks good im guessing I cut that spot out before spreads?
I'm growing outdoorsH202, 1% milk, apple cider vinegar, neem oil, compost tea, baking soda, ultra low humidity etc will treat it/manage it but will not cure it. I tried different things for about a year before I gave up and shut the perpetual down, treated the most important clones with a systemic fungicide (Myclobutanil), sanitize your grow space thoroughly with hydrogen peroxide or even bleach and begin again. Since then, no powdery mildew for years now and I do run at 60-80% relative humidity.
Dont break your back trying to maintain 30% humidity, it will not cure anything just slow it down. Once you are cured, you can run up to 75% humidity with no problem. So high humidity doesnt cause it, but it can encourage it once the spores arrive (usually on contaminated clones). If you live in a place that has lots of cannabis grows nearby, the spores might arrive via intake air but I am not 100% sure about that.
Any tips for outdoors? I also just found bud rot on one p.ant on couple nugs do I cut the whole bud off or just cut few cm below the bud rot type thing ?I tried all the home remedies with no good results on large over crowded plants. @hodgey420
Hey there!Do you know where to get Regalia? Ive tried to find neem oil but no luck yet and the weather in vancouver canada has been terrible cloudy and raining on and off for a week and getting more rain and clouds for another week so no sun here for awhile
At this stage just airflow and luck. Sorry. Keep them separated if in pots. Away from walls and fences or other plants. They all block wind and hold if not produce moisture.Any tips for outdoors?
