I heard somewhere that when your plant get to a desired hight you can cut the plant twice and it will stop growing up and just start growing out (wide). Is this possible and if it is cud any1 send me a link to a page that has info.

Thanks

Look up Topping, LST, Fimming. You will find all you need on RIU. I have not looked at this thread but people always give it big props. Look for user Uncle Ben.

Good luck.

for and easy alternative try , LOW STRESS TRAINING. Simply tighing the top of the plant back to the ground is always effective :)

I LST and FIM and holy crap, i have little bushes that look like crab grass with about 5+ main colas popping up. Cannabis loves to LST.

even if you top your plant it will continue to grow up, your stopping that single column of growth and it's putting it's energy into the branches more. your plant will never cease to grow upwards though.

LST like i said. No stunting the plant and you can keep it low with training. And get a way better yield for a small space.

You can LST with some chicken wire also. A guy I knew had a plant nearly 8 foot long sideways in a heating duct. Similar to Screen of Green, just train the plant through the holes like a vine. MJ is highly manipulable.
