So why don't we all just spray daily for a week and a day, and be done with it?
That preventitive maintenance is truly keyBest way not to have them is. Don't get them.. Most times its people not knowing about them. So if you don't no them. Learn about them. So you learn, not to get them.
I say is 50% chance you can get rid of them. But takes alot more work...... So best to learn how not to get them. Neem worked for.me. but at the end I lost 1 fight with them... Started over with new plants. Mite free 6 months. Every plant I get. Gets checked for any bugs. And put in a nother room till I clear.them in a week or 2
its concentrated so its 50 per bottle it makes a gallon and I'm sure there is a way to get it to you where are you located i use to ship internationally for years never an issueFor Me it is Because It(GUARDIAN) Probably (a) Costs a bomb for a Small Bottle? (b) Probably only available in the States...and Costs a Bomb on PnP IF they Post to UK?
Chilli's are Cheap, as is neem oil and Horticultural soap..

It looks like what I make myself? What does it smell like? Mine smells kinda oniony and sweet. I hate it. But I would also eat few drops since I made it myself(of course I dont, but I would).its concentrated so its 50 per bottle it makes a gallon and I'm sure there is a way to get it to you where are you located i use to ship internationally for years never an issue

The eggs need to hatch. At first I would every other day but then back off a bit to extend the treatment. I just dont think its the type of issue that is resolved quickly. I would try to spread it out over the most amount of days possible (within reason). I feel like I won my battle, but I ready to fight more if needed.Since the life cycle is every 3 days, why do people spray every 3 days, instead of every other day, thereby staying ahead of it?
I really like this video, take what you will from it, I use 3 different products including the Calcibrew.Since the life cycle is every 3 days, why do people spray every 3 days, instead of every other day, thereby staying ahead of it?
I know this thread is a million years old but...cool thread dude!-
as i have a bit of experience with the mighty borg, i would like to chime in.
more than likely this is the missing ingredient in my "solution". i make ionized water, using the low ph side i then mix 5mL lemon juice, and about 1.5 mL dishsoap(for viscosity amendment) per gallon. it works well. it makes the mites explode. literally. it also kills the majority of eggs, turning them a milky white color.
i don't use hoods, so the bit of uv does burn the plants if applied under full power. mimicking a rainy day as suggested is what i do as well. the combination of the low ph water and reduced light cycle have a secret added benefit as well.
i can see where the added benefit of the pepper oils disruption of feeding would make my potion much stronger.
Have you tried rosemary alone?I know this thread is a million years old but...
Very cool other idea. I hear cloves are one of the only natural killers of mite eggs, but if your potion does too that's awesome! Unfortunately adding peppers to the lemon mix won't work as you probably found out(years ago lol). Citric acid neutralizes the pepper spice. Also rosemary seems to neutralize it as well just for the record(I tried it). The acidic portion of water that comes out of an ionizer is very similar to adding bleach to water. It's hypochloric acid basically if I remember right.
