First off, let me say this is my first post but I've been browsing for awhile now. I searched and found some info but not exactly what I am looking for. I recently started smoking again. I used to smoke recreationally when I was younger, but now it's more to help me sleep and relax than anything else. I've been thinking that I'd really like to be legal, I mean I'm in CA and have that option, so seems like I'd be stupid to continue using illegally...
A friend of mine recently went to a clinic he found in the OC Weekly, he was in/out very quick and didn't need any real info to qualify. I was going to go this afternoon and then I got worried maybe these places are scams. I mean, how do I know that it's a legit doctor and they're giving me a legal MMJ card? Like I said, I'm new to this, so for all I know anybody could setup shop, ask me a couple questions, scan my ID, laminate a card w/ my pic on it, tell me I'm legal and take my money.
Is there any resource out there that shows legit from illegitimate places? Or am I just being paranoid about this? TIA.
