Yes, me and a friend are doing a parallel grow, same genetics. And he is using a vivosun 4x4 with no issues. Either way my room is so dark now I barely need a tent at all. It just got me upset because I lost so much time and work. Plus I do admit that the cause of the hermaphrodite is not 100%. Maybe just a bad seed. Really wasn't impressed with these plants overall, seeds aside. So now, I checked all of the boxes including new genetics and a pitch black room.

I would say if you are dark in the basement I wouldn't worry. I put my grow in my living room in Arizona with the entire back of my house being glass. It was really bright in there before I did a complete blackout of the room. And maybe it was just a bad seed. I will never know...
You hit the nail on the head
I’ve got a 4‘ x 4‘ tent Vivosun, I had a couple of light issues in the zipper on the side door, the flap got twisted up some how and let the light in. After checking the tent zippers further I had to fix a couple more spots. All in all I only had one little spot in it doesn’t really affect anything it’s the observation window right underneath the Velcro.
I have the 4x4 Vivosun and 1 flap is curled to vent and the other bottom vent closed tight.
Ever thought of making door of tent face a wall with a walkway of course. That should cut down on leaks a bit, no direct light.
My tent leaks like a sive, lucky for strong genetics.
If your in your tent regularly like me then you dodged a bullet, imo the T zip set is an absolute nightmare to open/close quickly/conveniently, it's task in itself, a joke by comparison to a one piece zip.
I had rip zipper apart and rezip, whole tent is cheap crap, using shiny cardboard type of material to block worst leaks, along zipper. Not cardboard but same design out of mylar. With alot of ducttape, if they find you handsome they better find you handy, Redgreen show.
I hear you man my second tent was a fucking disaster it was from Opulent tent 3x3x72 It’s one of the worst fucking designs someone made I’ve ever seen this before must’ve been 40 holes three rips, shit zippers stuff I mean a fucking zero. You’re gonna laugh your ass off so anyhow the care provider and I put the damn thing together zip it all up I take the brightest biggest flashlight I got said put it in there turn the lights all off zipped of the tent it look like a fucking kaleidoscope it was awful needless to say I got a refund for sure

Ive always been a budget grower, was still using magnetic ballast up until l aquired my leds. Tent second hand, only new things are pots and nutes and strains. The last l finally found a keeper so wont be searching this year. Almost a mono crop for 1st time. So many right ways to grow. There was a time when I returned a tent because of a small hole, now I'd just fix it but at the time it wasn't acceptable.
By some magical twist of fate or something I got busted while it was away getting exchanged and received it a few days later lol... I still use it to this day

They were only new things
Sorry I just wondered about pot size and material. Which nutrients you use and and what strain you went all in on with a monogrow. No worries if its a family secret, lol
