How to make a plant stretch?

Hi everyone. I'm on my first two plant closet grow. I'm growing in 5 gal smart pots with soil. I'm using 550 wall watts of CFL, about 50/50, 2700K and 6500K .

I think I made a noob mistake. I growing a LA Confidential and a Bubba's Gift from seed. The BG was freebie from Herbies. I started the BG about a week after the LA because none of the three Lost Coast OG's beans I bought cracked.

The LA was about 45cm and the BG was about half of that when I flipped to flower about 5 days ago. Now the LA has grown 10cm and the BG has only grown 3cm. I have the BG sitting up on a box to make the canopy level, but I want to make it grow faster to keep up. I have lollipoped both plants on the flip and both plants are a nice healthy green and very bushy. The BG has 4cm node spacing compared to the LA's 8cm node spacing.

Will backing the lights off help the BG stretch? Will pruning help it stretch? What can I do? Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

if you read the breeders description you would have seen that bubba's gift has very little stretch so you have to work on the LA. I would simply pull the top of the LA over and tie it off this will increase your yield as well and then put a brick under the BG to even your canopy.

I topped both plants only once, I'm still learning this hobby. Probably shouldn't have topped the BG that was a bad move.

Top of canopy are even and the temps are running from 64°F dark to 79°F lights on. RH is running 34% to 50% backed off about 10% since start of flower. I'm using Fox farm dirty dozen, flushed on the flip. I feed about every 4 days or when the pots feel light. Last feeding was a one gallon at1600 TDS @ PH of 6.2.

Should you top after you flip into the flower light cycle?

I'll see if I can get some picture up.

Thanks.

Raise the shorter plant up so its canopy is flush with the taller one. Or top the taller one.

Here are a couple of crappy camera phone pictures. It's obvious, the BG is on the right.

Think they need more leaves pruned off?
