Get a sheet of galvanised steal sheeting arround 3 mil thick, work out how big you want your hood counting the depth of the folded parts, when cutting your piece try to make it a perfect square or rectangle, you can get away with couple of mill but if its not a perfect shape it wont look as good. Ok i cut my piece with a still saw, but would be better donr with an angle grinder. Once you have your shape you need to cut a template like a kite shape i used a piece of lino to make mine but can use cardboard, make sure all the sides of the kite shape tally up in measurements, this is very important! think mine was 5" x 5" x 3" x 3". if you want steeper sides make the kite a litte thiner. Mark out a triangle in all corners of you sheet like pic and cut em out. Now the tricky bit you need something solid with a sharp edge, something like the top of a wall , place the sheet over the edge making sure the very corners of the kite cuttouts is lined up with the edge, than wack it into place with a lump hammer, the first fold is the easy one gets a bit tricky now, you need to find something that will roughly fit each side to bend the edges over, i used some house bricks. Once you have your shape u need to drill 4 little holes in each coner to get something to fix on, i used some wood, would be better with bolt and eye to connect chains, then drill your holes to house what evea light you want im using 6 cfl's, just need to hang it tomorrow and i'll put some pics up,, also if you try this watch ya dont cut your hands to bits on the rough edges, they need grinding away,. Took about 4-5 hours to make and assemble, gl
